Updated – Doctor Who 60th Anniversary Merchandise List

As the countdown begins to the 60th we have created a 60th Anniversary Collectors list that will be constantly updated as and when new merchandise is announced. There will be a permanent link on the merchandise homepage to this. All items that are sold as under the 60th, or Diamond Anniversary banner will be listed here.

Because of the loss of several franchises and others seemingly dormant for now we don’t think there will be anywhere near the amount released for the 50th but there should still be plenty to see with www.forbiddenplanet.com already starting to showcase some of the 100+ items planned by them. You can use the provided filter to see just the items you might be interested in. You can see the list Here.

I just need that new logo on a t-shirt ASAP, I love it! I hope one will be available soon.

Also hoping Forbidden Planet gets in on figures again.

Only trialling in 10 shops within Whsmith as concessions. Won’t be a massive range as space depending. Most likely be more online with next day pickup in store.

It’s funny seeing the Jon Pertwee logo gives a sense of stability and seriousness

This is making me really nostalgic. I remember in late 2012 when the 50th anniversary merch list was first uploaded, and the Royal Mail stamps being one of the first items announced for the 50th. It was constantly being updated with new merch like every week or so. A lot’s changed since then and unfortunately DW merchandise just isn’t as big of a thing anymore, but this has still made me really excited. I hope we get some good stuff next year

I remember it well. I went to the offical 50th Convention in London dressed as the 10th Dr and bought so much. I got the Holographic 10th Dr figure that came in a plastic bag from the BBC shop

Same here, the convention was one of the best days of my life. I was only 9 back then but I still remember the hype around the 50th so vividly. I still have my hologram 10th figure

Not to moan in the slightest, but i hope this entire diamond collection isn’t all just black clothing. Everything seems so black and white so far, hopefully that’ll change once we get to Pertwee?

Off the top of my head:

2nd Dr has one cream (as they’ve already released the art print, I think I can say now that this is the War Games map), 4th Dr has one on maroon, 5th Dr is cream (as Booboo has pointed out), 6th Dr is red, 7th Dr is blue, 9th Dr is navy, 13th Dr is navy.

You’re right about not wanting all black – we tried to mix it up a bit when planning it out!

Remember those premium silver and Gold collectibles that were announced for the 50th anniversary? The company went bust (a handful of orders did ship before they folded). Wonder if there will be any high end offerings this time around.

I do actuallY have one of the solid gold 1oz NZ coins, the price hurt badlY at the time of the 50th anniversarY, but as there’s only 250 in the world +the only ones I’ve ever seen on sale now go for almost 3x what I paid, it was worthwhile. The first (and probably only) Harlequin 1oz gold ingot stamped with a blue TARDIS has been on ebaY a good Year-plus for an eYe-watering £10,995… wouldn’t hold mY breath if I was the seller!

It’s a real shame we’ve lost some of the big companies before the 60th.
I’m hoping there might be some talks going on behind the scenes with other businesses to get the ball rolling with some new merch. Fingers crossed

Yeah, The 60th Anniversary is on the horizon and we’ve already lost Eaglemoss and now Warlord.
All CO does is some B&M repacks, and Big Chief and Harrops struggle to get out there Product.
So I’m really hoping there is some light at the end of the Tunnel.

Oh by the way, I recently contacted Big Chief as I’m very keen on getting those Peter Davison, Sylvester McCoy and Patrick Troughton figures to complete the Current Doctors line up.
      The reply wasn’t great.
There will be no more Pre-Orders in the quite distant future as we struggle to get the Existing Pre-Orders into production.
      (Ah Well).

Much as I love the excellent new miniature Gerry Anderson figures and want to see a lot of specific figures released (Robert the XL5 robot and UFO aliens) I’m a bit amazed that these figures are apparently ‘imminent’ while a lot of us have had Who figures on pre order for lord knows how long.

That doesn’t sound great Coleman. Does that possibly mean that we might not see the pre-ordered figures at all, and that they are going the same way as Eaglemoss?. Bit worrying.

Glad i got refunded when i did after the whole Eaglemoss debacle. I didnt want to have to chase up more money in case they fell through as well. Ill order when things are in shop or not at all. Stuff the incentives,

      Hello Popplewick and Jay.
Jay, Don’t give up on Peter, Sylvester and Patrick just yet. Neil didn’t say they wouldn’t be made, just that any New pre-Orders would be awhile off yet.
I was abit dissapointed they won’t be out for quite awhile yet. (Was looking forward to a full complement of Doctors) Especially when I remember Before COVID these figures were going to be on Pre-Order around the middle of 2020.
They’ve truly been put on the back burner.
Yes Popplewick, it seems strange that all these bobbleheads and Vinyls keep getting made, now these “5 joints” are coming soon. They should concentrate on one line until they get on top of Production.

Hello ergon, I remember about Two years ago now the Big Chief, Pre-Production Peter Davison and Sylvester McCoy figures were quite advanced. They mentioned they were just about ready for Production, apart from they had a few issues with both there Jackets. (Once this was sorted it sounded like they were going to be up for Pre-Order).

Anyway, I know they’ve had Production issues with Covid, Brexit, The Current War etc, but since Two years had past I thought I’d contact Customer Services to see how far along these three Doctors were in Pre-production. To say I was surprised with the reply is an understatement.

The Anderson figures are up for pre-order but are not as ‘imminent’ as previous blurb had led me to believe. Sadly the current lengthy list of stuff I have on preorder from Big Chief put me off ordering anything else. After the demise of eaglemoss paying any more in advance just isn’t on.

Adore the ‘diamond’ anniversary logo! It looks beautiful! The excitement is beginning to build.

Thanks for the collector’s list…I think it going to be very useful for keeping track of everything.
