Pre-ordered this today, but I’m not allowed it until Christmas, which kinda blows.

I’m going to keep my AAISAT DVD though, as I think it deserves it’s own special space on my shelf. Will sell me DOTD DVD though. Should get a little bit out of it.

I checked both AAISAT & DOTD as I was going to offload them as well – Having checked the SF on both, some are not replicated on the 50th. CE so I’m now going to keep them. The SF on the TOTD Specials release ARE all on the 50th. CE which I had not bought ~ So the 50th. CE look’s like a good buy to me…

I am mainly keeping AAISAT because it deserves it’s own spot /and/ I like the reconstructions and bonus features on the disc too.

The bonus features on the DOTD DVD weren’t spectacular in my opinion, and a lot of what is in here is much better. Only with they had the 50th Trailer, the one with all the Doctors time-locked? That’s probably all I would miss from that release.

it depends on whether or not you want the extras that aren’t on the previous releases. I personally have them all as well, but have ordered this (bluray version) because i want all the extras that i don’t already have!

      July 24th, 2014 - 10:08pm

I don’t mind about the extra

      but it look so good

then i wouldn’t spend the money if you want it for its looks then whats the point when you have all the stuff you want and are not worried about the extras on this set.

I’ve been holding out for this. I deliberately didn’t get the other releases in hope of a decent boxset for the anniversary. The BBC are true to form and my predictions have come true. I can’t wait to get this. 🙂

I’m undecided on this set. It’s cool, but all I really need are Day, Time and AAISAT. The rest are nice bonuses but I could do without them

Don’t know whether to hold out for a standard edition set that will match the series box sets, or to just dive in and get this. If there is no standard edition and I don’t get this now and it sells out, then I will never get the set. If I get this now and they announce a standard edition, then I will be stuck with a more expensive set which doesn’t match the collection so far. Collector’s mindset y’see, even the smallest of problems is a conundrum. Need some advice!

I’ve just spent around £100 updating my new series collection into the series box sets to fit in with series 8 which it seems is not getting volumes. And now the BBC decides that is need this glaring anomaly in the middle of my collection? NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Agreed. Was afraid that this might turn out to be £60+ purchase the Five-ish Doctors and a heap of stuff we’ve already got, but the £28.99 is actually pretty reasonable.
