January 20th, 2015 - 7:39pmAnyone know when these figures are being released in TheEntertainer? It’s the only toy shop in my town.
Dr dalek
January 25th, 2015 - 7:22amThey only do wave 1 patrol ship and screwdrivers
Anonymous
January 19th, 2015 - 1:55pmhow come on forbidden planet.co.uk they are £5.99 but in there manchester store they range from £7.99 to £9.99?
booboo
January 19th, 2015 - 2:27pmweb prices are often lower as its a more competitive market and shop overheads are much greater, nothing unusual
The Holographic Doctor
January 19th, 2015 - 9:54pmPostage usually brings the price up to store prices when you order online , it’s to do with interest and such unfortunately.
Exterminator
January 17th, 2015 - 4:06pmI got mine delivered the other day from fp. I have to say, the blue suit 10th is such a good likeness for a 3.75″ figure.
booboo
January 17th, 2015 - 4:09pmafter a bit of a hit and miss start these figures are becoming really good for a smaller scale
Exterminator
January 17th, 2015 - 4:13pmI agree they’re great figures. I’ve even started packing some of my 5″ ones away and displaying these. That’s how much I like them.
booboo
January 17th, 2015 - 4:19pmpeople dont know how lucky they are these days
£6 for an articulate figure with a good likeness, dapol were £6.99 15 years ago (and vat was only 8% then not 17.5% like now)
I remember buying my first nicam TV, Sony 26″ with separate speakers £1000!
and the very first household betamax for £299 – and it didn’t even have a timer
how things have changed
The Twelfth Doctor
January 17th, 2015 - 4:28pmI absolutely agree. I really love these figures and I think they are just as good as the 5″ scale figures. 🙂
the astronaut of death
January 17th, 2015 - 5:00pmHow are they just as good?
Although I still love the 3.75 figures
But the detail on the 5 inch figures is obviously better.
booboo
January 17th, 2015 - 5:22pmjust as good for the size (and half the price)
its not about comparisons its what’s achievable for the price the market dictates and they do very well
I mean a Skovox Blitzer for £6 (and i have not heard one bad word from anyone who has bought one) who’s complaining?
we hear so much about bring back the 5″ but costs went up considerably and the casual market just wont stand £12 – £15 a figure, the collectors market will, just, and that’s what we have been getting anyway
The Twelfth Doctor
January 17th, 2015 - 5:32pmBecause I think that they are just as good and definitely a worthy replacement for what was definitely a dead line.
Anonymous
January 17th, 2015 - 5:40pmDead line?
booboo
January 17th, 2015 - 5:42pmfrom the mainstream retailers point of view, its not actually dead, just evolved
The Twelfth Doctor
January 18th, 2015 - 9:44amThe 5″ line was dead (at the time anyway). There hadn’t been any new sculpts (Apart from Rory and a few UT exclusives) in ages and shops weren’t buying enough stock to keep them going. That’s why I think the 3.75″ figures are worthy replacements for the 5″ line which has been and gone (but is ever so slowly returning).
TheExtremeBlueTARDIS
January 18th, 2015 - 9:52amI agree that the 3.75″ line has improved – but for me the 5″ line will always be the best.
shatner
January 19th, 2015 - 1:24pmthese are getting better but 5inch will always be on my shelf. the kids can play with the 3.75 ones even tho they break within minutes. the 5 inch have been played with more but only the daleks seem to break. Thank god for super glue
alexanderop
January 16th, 2015 - 3:48pmSo, have people found these in Argos yet?
booboo
January 16th, 2015 - 3:53pmdont think so, maybe tomorrow
Dr dalek
January 25th, 2015 - 7:25amGot my scovocx blitzer from there in 20/1/15
Chris
January 16th, 2015 - 2:47pmOrdered the Scovox Blitzer, Tenth Doctor in Blue Suit and Day of the Daleks Gold Dalek on Wednesday (14th) night, whilst all three were still up for pre-order. I’ve noticed the Gold Dalek is now out of stock – it was in stock for a brief time after 12 AM Thursday (15th) morning after the pre-order altered into in stock; automatically, I’m guessing.
Did anyone else order the Gold Dalek on the 14th? I’m hoping I just got my order in in time.
Cyberdevil
January 16th, 2015 - 12:09pmPicked up this wave in Toymaster. Very nice.

DILBOT10000
January 14th, 2015 - 12:12pmJust ordered my set from FP.com, excluding the 12th Doctor seeing as I have him already. Was also wondering what the difference is between forbiddenplanet.co.uk and forbiddenplanet.com? I’d be grateful if someone would let me know 🙂
ChristopherAdventures
January 14th, 2015 - 7:49amI wish people would stop dissing Skovox Blitzer, the detail is extraordinary!
booboo
January 14th, 2015 - 8:50amThat’s because they haven’t seen it
DannyTheDoctorWhoFan
January 14th, 2015 - 4:17pmI love it! 😀
Cyberman Bill
January 14th, 2015 - 7:00pmIt’s perfect. It’s fits nicely with the new figures.
doctor what
January 16th, 2015 - 4:41pmThe initial images made it look rubbish, looks much better from the in hand pictures floating around.
The five doctors
January 13th, 2015 - 6:59pmHopefully have them when I go to FP on Saturday
WouldYouLikeAJellyBaby?
January 13th, 2015 - 4:19pmRecieved my Skovox Blitzer Figure today and it is Great! Easily one of the best 3.75″ Monster Figures from the line IMO! The Paint is also like Wholords2 said more of a Silver with Bronze wash so its close enough to the actual onscreen Prop.
The five doctors
January 13th, 2015 - 7:01pmHow hard is it to get the leg things on it do you have to do what you would do if you got a TITAN dalek ?
WouldYouLikeAJellyBaby?
January 13th, 2015 - 7:24pmI don’t own any TITAN Daleks I’m afraid, however you do have to push the legs quite hard into the body but not too hard as you don’t want to break them. There shouldn’t be any danger of that happening though.
The Twelfth Doctor
January 13th, 2015 - 8:06pmBasically, with TITANS Daleks, you have to put them in hot water for them to fit in the holes.
WouldYouLikeAJellyBaby?
January 13th, 2015 - 9:03pmOh right, thanks for that The Twelfth Doctor. Well with the Skovox Blitzer Figure you don’t have to do that, you just simply connect the legs to the body when its unpackaged.
The five doctors
January 13th, 2015 - 10:08pmCheers WouldYouLikeAJellyBaby & The Twelfth Doctor 😀
JellyBaby100
January 13th, 2015 - 10:09pmIs it tiny compared to all the other 3.75” figures? ‘Cause it looks really small in all the promo pics.
Wholords2
January 14th, 2015 - 6:42pmIt’s up the the shoulders on the 12th doctor figure
JellyBaby100
January 15th, 2015 - 10:24pmI guess that sounds about right.
toptimelord
January 13th, 2015 - 3:28pmMine have just been dispatched from Forbidden Planet!
mick
January 13th, 2015 - 3:37pmsame here
The Twelfth Doctor
January 13th, 2015 - 3:53pmSame with mine. Hopefully we will receive them this week 😀
mick
January 13th, 2015 - 6:08pmthat’s pretty good going for a change from forbidden planet.com they usually take ages to get orders off.
Castrovalva
January 13th, 2015 - 2:51pmIn stock at fp sheffield just got all four
Doom Dalek
January 12th, 2015 - 11:23pmI am still annoyed with the 3.75″ cuz i like the 5″ range but they should still go a doctor and companion from each series in 5″ and key characters like danny and missy and a 5″ tardis playset
Anonymous
January 12th, 2015 - 10:09pmOnly got 2 I need to get! The robot and the David tennant
Anonymous
January 12th, 2015 - 9:34pmlooks like they are in stock at forbidden planet.com mine have been charged.
Wholords2
January 12th, 2015 - 4:23pmFor all of you who are worried about the SB being gold
Don’t worry, I have just received mine and it’s more silver with a bronze weathering on it
booboo
January 12th, 2015 - 4:25pmI suspected that but as usual people are to quick to jump to conclusions before seeing the actual item
StetsonDoctor
January 10th, 2015 - 9:52pmOn FPI (.co.uk), they are on ‘back order’ with the additional note ‘stock on the way soon’, so hopefully they’ll be available to buy later this week…
Jamie
January 9th, 2015 - 7:48pmwhy is eleven wearing a waste coat, are they not trying to go for the series 6 look I mean they could have used the trench coat from the 10th doctor and that would have looked better!
the astronaut of death
January 9th, 2015 - 8:03pmBecause they are lazy and can’t be bothered making a new sculpt
booboo
January 9th, 2015 - 8:17pmmore i would think at £5.99 the cost of new tooling is just not worth it
CaptainJimiPie
January 12th, 2015 - 8:52amBut they have the waistcoat less sculpt from the Tweed version, all they had to do was swap the coat.
There’s no excuse for this apart from laziness as far as I can see!
booboo
January 12th, 2015 - 8:59amWould probably still mean altering a production line at great additional cost let alone time which is not worth it for a £6 (less 20% vat, less factory, character, shops profits , less licensing, rights packaging, shipping and other costs) figure.
Factories work to tight schedules and altering what may appear to us to be the most basic of things costs time and money had would not be worth it for the price of these figures and would add to the cost to much.
Exterminator
January 9th, 2015 - 1:36pmI bought the green coat 11th and the gold dalek from America, both have got different images on the back card compared to this wave.
booboo
January 9th, 2015 - 1:37pmUSA got them in an earlier wave so maybe they used different images
THE ERGON
January 8th, 2015 - 5:06pmI,ll be getting 3 of the 6. Getting less interested in what colour variation they come in.
Anonymous
January 8th, 2015 - 11:34amI’m lead to believe that FP has a date of 15th. January for this final set of Wave 3 figures
Trenzalore
January 7th, 2015 - 8:11pmHaven’t been collecting these recently, think its because they seem to be centred around Toy’s R’ Us which is miles away from me. Need to try and get back into it just hope these are released in Argos or something (is there a new catalogue due out soon?)
TimeyDavidy
January 7th, 2015 - 8:57pmThe availability is just awful.
Wholords2
January 7th, 2015 - 8:58pmIt’s out on the 16th January 🙂
Trenzalore
January 7th, 2015 - 9:05pmAgree there @TimeyDavidy.
And thanks Wholords2 🙂 , hope there’s some new Doctor Who stuff in it even if these aren’t.
Balakin
January 7th, 2015 - 10:42pmI saw plenty DW toys in Boots too (previous Wave 3 stuff). I bet Argos is gonna carry them too, although Argos is the worst place on Earth (usually the people at the till don’t understand how can be multiple items under the same code and why does it matter to me which one I buy .In many cases, even if the local online catalogue says they have like 25 figures in stock, actually they only have one. I would rather go to TRU which is like a 1-1,5 trip to me).
yognot
January 8th, 2015 - 7:00pmI don’t know if you you live in the UK or not and I don’t know,if the UK has Walgreens. But I saw some Wave 3 stuff there on Monday.
Matthew Staton
January 7th, 2015 - 7:12pmI think the only two figures out of these I will buy, are the Scovox and the Twelfth Doctor.
RORY DOCTOR RIVER POND
January 7th, 2015 - 4:56pmi thought they already released these

McGann is the Doctor
December 31st, 2014 - 11:16pmIt really is pathetic, even with the reduced scale they can only release a spoonful of figures every now and then
Happy new year by the way!

January 3rd, 2015 - 3:57pmcharacter are too busy doing peppa pig stuff :/ sometime I think a different company should make the figures instead
The Werewolf
January 3rd, 2015 - 4:01pmThey do better than Bridge Direct for the Hobbit line though, much better.
