May 16th, 2013 - 9:15amI agree. As always aliens and robots look good at this scale. Humanoid figure always look off.
Da Big Friendly Button
May 16th, 2013 - 11:21amSurely you don’t mean the Dalek.
Space1999
May 15th, 2013 - 10:20pmWhich one looks the best because I going with either the cybermen or the ice warrior
Calum Gillan
May 15th, 2013 - 11:14pmCyberman is more detailed but the ice warrior looks more like the actual thing in the show
Scott the Raptor
May 16th, 2013 - 4:46amIce Warrior. He looks like he has more playability.
Scott the Raptor
May 15th, 2013 - 10:15pmWhoops! I only have enough money for two figures. I’ll stick with The Doctor and an Ice Warrior.
Doctor Who Crazy Ross
May 15th, 2013 - 10:12pmThey are beautiful.
I’ve worked out it will cost me £72.91!
That’s for all 6 figures, the TARDIS and the playsets!
DoctorWhoFan101
May 16th, 2013 - 6:58amTARDIS???? Is there a TARDIS set?
Da Big Friendly Button
May 16th, 2013 - 10:13amI think he means the spin and fly tardis.
Doctor PSY
May 15th, 2013 - 10:04pmAre they out now?
Da Big Friendly Button
May 16th, 2013 - 8:01amI heard it would be the 26th or 29th of this month.
Friend of Hath
May 15th, 2013 - 9:46pmBooboo do you have any links to the cold war set yet?
The Supreme Dalek
May 15th, 2013 - 9:25pmWill these figures be able to stand properly?
UDWF1
May 15th, 2013 - 9:20pmThey don’t look half bad 😛
UDWF1
May 15th, 2013 - 10:13pmNo, actually… the Cybermen do
Doctor Who Crazy Ross
May 15th, 2013 - 9:06pmoh my gosh! I love these so much. Matt’s eyes are fine, Clara’s cheeks are perfect and the Cybermen… oh those Cybermen! I LOVE THEM!
Ian
May 15th, 2013 - 9:03pmbooboo would the stands fit the 5″ that have holds in their feet?
booboo
May 15th, 2013 - 9:07pmdont know but its a good thought

May 15th, 2013 - 8:46pmBooBoo do the pictures on Doctor Who Toys Net do these any justice because I can’t get on the website.
booboo
May 15th, 2013 - 9:06pmyes they do, at least i think so
DrWHoFan1
May 15th, 2013 - 10:12pmSame! It wont load for me!
Lior Knight
May 15th, 2013 - 10:58pmAre the pictures on the site of preproduction samples or actual production figures? Because preproduction figures always have clean paintjob while mass production would seem closer to the promo shots.
booboo
May 15th, 2013 - 11:03pmI have no idea, they are the official images sent to retailers by Character
The Cyberman in the pictures taken by Mr Fusion looks 100x better
http://doctorwhotoys.net/cyberman_series7_figures%20copy.jpg
Lior Knight
May 15th, 2013 - 11:37pmI’ve meant Mr Fusion’s pictures. Did he take pictures of his pre-production samples or of actual mass production figures?
booboo
May 16th, 2013 - 8:34ami dont know, you will have to ask him that
Imaginethatnodoor
May 15th, 2013 - 8:36pmSorry not gonna lie, although the ice warrior dalek and weeping able look. The others look terribly cheap and bad. I understand that the smaller they are the harder it is to lock I. The detail. But these are beyond awful
booboo
May 15th, 2013 - 8:37pmThe pictures of the actual figures are much better
Joetoonz
May 15th, 2013 - 8:44pmAre the eyes actually just black like they are in these pics, booboo?
booboo
May 15th, 2013 - 8:46pmi didn’t look that closely, i dont tend to scrutinise
The problem is these figures are small and the the images dont do them justice, i would just wait to see them in hand, they looked ok at the toy fair and images i have seen of the actual figures look much better, especially the cyberman
wrigda
May 15th, 2013 - 9:05pmI don’t know about you guys but when I first heard about the 3.75 inch I reacted in some way along the lines of slamming my head several times against the wall.-_-
Jordan
May 15th, 2013 - 8:21pmwow these figures look absolutely awful! The doctor looks like a cheap fast-food toy The Cybermans face has poor detail The Weeping Angel looks very poor to! The Ice Warrior looks ok to be completely honest and Clara but i’m afraid Character options have gone way down hill. If there’s another wave they defiantly need to have alot more detail but should remake another 11th Doctor, Amy Pond (From The Angles Take Manhattan, 60’s Asylum Daleks, 70’s Asylum Dalek, The Gunslinger, and A Rory Williams figure
Jordan
May 15th, 2013 - 8:23pmOh and the dalek looks ok to forgot to mention
Nicholas
May 15th, 2013 - 10:12pmTrust me, they are actually very good. These promo pictures don’t do them Justice at all. Better quality images can be found on DWT
Alfie thomo525
May 15th, 2013 - 8:18pmThey look awesome cant wait ! Definitely getting these !!!!!!!
Fezmeister
May 15th, 2013 - 8:04pmI’ll definitely be passing on these. The Dalek and Ice Warrior are acceptable, but the rest look horrendous. They’re too small for my tastes, anyway.
Fezmeister
May 15th, 2013 - 8:32pmI should add that the stands are a nice touch, but that’s still not enough to interest me when the figures don’t impress me.
Nicholas
May 15th, 2013 - 8:03pmHas anybody else noticed the lack of Cable ties? This is great! No ore fiddling around
Anonymous
May 15th, 2013 - 8:15pmActually they’re around the Doc & Clara’s arms and the Angel’s body
Kroton
May 15th, 2013 - 8:16pmThat may well be one of the best things about the figures! (I love these figures and they just got a whole lot better now you pointed that out!)
Nicholas
May 15th, 2013 - 8:25pmOh, I see. They are just clear ones…
Dalek Smith
May 15th, 2013 - 7:52pmi stand corrected after seeing the dr who toys.net images i am actually tempted (though i still have my doubts over the cyberman) also is dalek sec going to be a rare figure
Drwhofan130
May 15th, 2013 - 7:48pmdo what have a date for these yet
James A
May 15th, 2013 - 7:40pmI’ve seen new photos of the figures on Doctor Who Toys.net, they look a lot better than in the promos provided by CO.
booboo
May 15th, 2013 - 7:43pmThe are taken by Mr Fusion who works for Character
Nicholas
May 15th, 2013 - 7:35pmThe Promo pics don’t do them justice but they look great in their boxes. At £6.99, I’ll definitely be buying The Doctor, Clara and either an Ice Warrior or a Cyberman
Boodleoo
May 15th, 2013 - 8:36pmHow would CO produce cybermites in that scale plus the cold war set comes with a figurine of a unarmored ice warrior not the ice warrior figure
Scott the Raptor
May 16th, 2013 - 4:53amNo they couldn’t. The cyber items are much smaller than cybermats. They’d practically be invisible.
Trenzalore1502
May 23rd, 2013 - 7:45amSame
sheepinafez
May 15th, 2013 - 7:23pmif theese are the size of starwars figures we could make some really awsome scenes
sheepinafez
May 15th, 2013 - 7:28pmfunny how they havent made moffats daleks first
DoctorWhoFan101
May 15th, 2013 - 7:39pmI thought that as well. I was like… OH! THATS A SURPRISE. But I guess its because
A. Those Daleks were more loved than the moffat ones and
B. They recently made a return in ‘AOTD’ so I fear that is one of the reasons as well.
Dalek The Supreme
May 16th, 2013 - 5:13amI like the Time War Daleks a lot, but I would’ve preferred a metallic red Dalek Drone, since A) It would be a brand new figure, and b) Because I’m one of the few who like the Paradigm Daleks more than the older models.
DoctorWhoFan101
May 16th, 2013 - 7:08amAs much as I like the RTD era Daleks, it would’ve been nice to see the newer ones as they may not have been popular, but since the RTD era Daleks have made a return, their love has turned back to the old ones…
dalek666
May 15th, 2013 - 7:00pmwow. these look soo bad! i didnt think they were going to look so rubbish!
jy97drwhomad
May 15th, 2013 - 6:57pmthe doctors head sculpt of the doctor looks quite bad in these pictures but here:
http://doctorwhotoys.net/eleventh_doctor_and_clara%20copy.jpg
it look fine.
Kroton
May 15th, 2013 - 8:15pmThat site isn’t working for me. Is there any other way to see the pics?

Kroton
May 15th, 2013 - 8:18pmOh well, I’ll try later! Which figure do you think is best booboo?
Kroton

booboo
May 15th, 2013 - 7:23pmi dont want to do to much till after the weekend if i can help it
Scott the Raptor
May 15th, 2013 - 6:53pmI would like wave 2 to be:
The Doctor without waistcoat (The Bells of Saint John)
Oswin Oswald (Asylum of the Daleks)
Whisperman
Mummy (The Rings of Akhaten)
Miss Kizlet (The Bells of Saint John)
Doctor Simeon (The Name of The Doctor)
Scott the Raptor
May 16th, 2013 - 8:41pmActually, change The Doctor to The Doctor with removable top hat like captain jack (The Snowmen)
Sam Bentley
May 15th, 2013 - 6:51pmAm I the only one who think that, in the box, Clara looks likea older, brunette version of Merry from TRoA?
DoctorWhoFan101

Antonio Zambonini
May 15th, 2013 - 6:41pmall these look like are character building but not lego and bigger pointless
booboo
May 15th, 2013 - 6:43pmno they don’t
that’s being ridiculous
Anonymous
May 15th, 2013 - 7:22pmOnly similarity is the stand they come with! Nothing like character building figure wise though!
Antonio Zambonini
May 16th, 2013 - 10:05pmtrue but for people who collect classic figures it is as makes dr who more poorer
Dan Johnson
