Heading up the range is a number of articulated figures that will be perfect for collectors. Set in the classic 5.5 inch scaling each perfectly replicates some of the favourite characters, past and present, from the show.

Another Figure in the series is the Twelfth Doctor, as played by Peter Capaldi, in his Ninth Season hoodie and checked trousers outfit. This item also includes a new head sculpt and his brand new Sonic Screwdriver just in time for Season Ten!

Please, oh please! One of the next two figures be Clara from Face the Raven or Clara from the Under The Lake.

Yes. I would really like to see hem both, to be honest with you. I first thought it was impossible but now we have this it’s really got my hopes up for a better Clara figure.

Nice choices! I’d like either one of those as a Clara figure release as well!

Agreed. Though a Bonnie/Clara would be nice too. I want a regular outfit S9 Clara but hopefully we’ll get a Diner Clara sometime soon – with play set of course!

I hope they do more variants of this in the future and maybe even a 12 in Davros’ chair?

    I’ve just been thinking…

If the 3.75 continues, Is this also a sign of a 3.75 figure of this because the Missy’s in Wave 5 looked like the 5.5 ones as well as the shirt Wave 4 12.

The 3.75s have been discontinued essentially, the missy and 8th Doctor figures aren’t happening

    Yessssssssssss!

Yes, the face on this particular image is far too smooth and soft, and not instantly screaming out “the Twelfth Doctor” or “Peter Capaldi around 2015” – I hope the final figure, in hand, will have a paint job that makes the face look a bit sharper and more angular – but the figure itself is brilliant, and I’ll absolutely do my best to get one. (And hope for a good paint job while at it, LOL.)

Of course the screwdriver is wrong for the episode the outfit comes from – I’m keeping fingers crossed for an eventual sonic sunglasses S9 version – but that’s not really a gripe at all; by the time this figure comes out, the blue one has been “the” sonic screwdriver for Twelve for well over a year anyway.

Damn though, I’m just so happy to see a proper S9 version of Twelve at last. 😀

So, so, so happy about this. I only wish he had sunglasses/his guitar too, maybe he will include those in the final release?
I’m sure I can rustle up a guitar for him if not.

Nice and from one of my favourite episodes too. Hopefully this means some Series 9 or even 8 Clara is on it’s way. The Clara’s out so far are both Series 7. Ultimately I’d like to see Twelve in his red velvet and Clara in her Face the Raven outfit.

*Raises hand* I’m in for a new Clara. They HAVE to make a s9 one to match now we have this.

Woooooo! They actually did a new sculpt! And gave us the Sonic. I think if they’re willing to do the hoody and shirt combo, a velvet 12 is almost certain!

This is same company that did Clara, the two Missy’s, a series 8 Twelve and an Eighth Doctor earlier this year. If you got those in the UK you’ll get this one most likely.

I’m hoping they do a red velvet one as they could do a series 8 variant of it by painting the coat blue as the figure would have the waistcoat on it.

Not my preferred choice of Twelfth Doctor figure (would have been the hoody and jumper combo), but this particular variant makes for a great toy. Nice to see the improved headsculpt (just changing the facial expression from solemn to something more angry works), including the fluffier hair. The lining looks a little more obvious yet subtle too, which is nice.

I think the image itself has been oversaturated too much in order to make the colours “pop”, which has smoothed out the likeness a tad. I’m sure it’ll look great in hand. Looking forward to it!

Very excited at getting a Peter Capaldi Doctor Who figure wearing one of his Series 35 (aka Series 9) looks! I love how he made various clothing alterations during the last series and that we’re getting a figure representing one of those looks! It looks amazing, I can’t wait to get it and I hope this will be the lead for the release of a red velvet coated Capaldi variant figure at some point as well! 🙂

Well, this is an unexpected surprise! I was not expecting this at all, I was hoping for a new Twelfth Doctor variant of some sort but I didn’t realize how far UT would go with it. Yes, I know it doesn’t ressemble Peter Capaldi that much but you can tell who its supposed to be and its a big improvement from what we got last year. Also it may look a lot better in hand and even then if it doesn’t I’m sure we can replace the head with the one from the Time of the Doctor set. I am also aware that he doesn’t come with a guitar or sonic sunglasses but to be honest I can live without them and I didn’t like the shades or guitar anyway. I don’t want to tempt fate, but considering this figure comes with the new Sonic Screwdriver I think we could possibly be seeing a velvet variant either further down the line or as one of the next two items. Well done UT, you have done a fantastic job with this figure and I can’t wait to pick it up!
