Doctor Who 12th Doctor Flight Control Tardis

Take a journey through time and space in the home of the universe’s most famous Time Lord! The TARDIS, or Time And Relative Dimension In Space, is a time machine and spacecraft created by the Time Lords on Gallifrey.

An obsolete and decommissioned model, it was ‘borrowed’ by the First Doctor when he left his home planet and has transported all of the incarnations of The Doctor to many different time periods and a variety of exotic alien worlds.

Now you can join the adventure! Featuring light and sound effects, this replica of the Twelfth Doctor’s TARDIS also has opening doors and can carry 5.5″ Doctor Who action figures. The perfect gift for any Doctor Who fans!

  • Take off and landing sounds and lights
  • In flight and ‘turbulent’ flight sound FX
  • Interior light and sound FX
  • Light up top signs and interior
  • Light up roof lantern
  • Twelfth Doctor TARDIS interior decal
  • Opening doors

A real shame they only sold it for a short time, wasn’t really into figures at the time thinking about now I it would of gone so well with all my other figures and sets at the time.

Well like a lot of DW from CO it’s still out of stock. This should prove to Character just how popular 5″ Who is.

True and it’s frustrating that I still need to get this tardis and I also need 11th doctor’s tardis as well, I didn’t have the money to buy it back then. I’m going to be notified when its back in stock, nothing yet.

I emailed character and the basic response I got back was that there was no more plans to re stock the stores with this at this time. Maybe it has to do with there not being any Doctor Who on the air.

Does anyone seem to know if this will be in stock again just inching my way to buy one and then find out its out of stock again. Should I go to Toys R us and buy one?

I’ve seen it for around £50 and that’s it, I don’t fancy spending £50 when it was only brought out last year for £20

      March 20th, 2016 - 9:38pm

It doesn’t matter that it came out this year for 20£. What if they never release anymore to stores and it looks as if that’s what’s happening? If there aren’t any around in stock ever again, the price will go up. That seems to be the going rate right now. (About 50£). It’s simple supply and demand.

Really not happy with these, my first one had faulty SFX sounds and now my second one has a faulty centre light mean that the pull to open sign doesn’t light up and inside is really dim! Any suggestions on what I should do would be much appreciated

But bought this and instead of making the standard take off sounds it makes the turbulent sounds every single time! I’m not sure whether to take it back or keep it as all of the other sounds such as the interior, landing and flight sounds seem to be fine just the take off seems faulty

Well depite all the criticism, Mine arrived last week and it is awesome! The only issue I have is that the right door (the one with the button) is quite stiff and dosen’t shut properly without giving it a manual push.
Awesome TARDIS and looks great alongside Capaldi.

I got mine about a month ago, an the LEDs and everything work properly, but I have the same issue regarding the door buttons, and a little annoyed – but don’t care too much – other than once when it slammed on my finger and cut me while trying to close it.

I assume you are in Britain, but in the East Coast of the US (and I assume all over), Barnes and Noble has so many of them – I picked up the only one in stock at a location near where I live, and thought it was the only one – but they got more. And another 10 minutes away has 4 on the shelf, and more in the back. But it’s not marked as exclusive like some of the other new 5.5 inch range things, even though they’re mostly all exclusive to Toys’R’Us in the UK. Same with the new Eighth Doctor in one retailer. So if you know anyone in the U.S., this TARDIS can be found everywhere.

I just got my TARDIS a few days ago & noticed the centre light inside the tardis isn’t lighting up sometimes? I just swapped the batteries to brand new AAA’s and the light flickers on/off, so the police telephone sign isn’t illuminated? Is this normal or dodgy wiring etc? Should I send it back?

    Thanks

Apparently there have been loads of errors, mostly concerning the battery compartment (some didn’t have one at all) and some were missing LED’s in the windows or signs. That’s why I’m not ordering mine and want to pick it up in person

Besides the interior, how exactly is this different to the 11th Doctor version? Different shade of blue? Different sound effects?

    Reply
    • Cyberman Bill

      November 5th, 2015 - 7:28pm

Both. Different sounds, different blue… And the windows and call box sign light up. Also, the light shines when u open the doors and the light on top stops pulsating when the TARDIS lands.

    • Balakin

      November 5th, 2015 - 7:30pm

different blue, the interior lights up, also the windows and the signs. The pull to open sign can’t be opened but it lights up. And the windows are white instead of black. I think the sound fx are the same.
