You are bidding on one 11th Doctors Sonic Screwdriver First Shot in Packaging. The packaging is for River Songs Future Sonic Screwdriver.
The Sonic Screwdriver is shot in yellow plastic and would have been used in the development process to check if the tools are ready to go into mass production.
The blister has a factory mark of an A written in pen on it.
Factory anomoly, first shot in wrong packaging.
Will come with letter of authenticity from Character Options.

May 19th, 2015 - 12:51pmIf you are interested in rarity then this is it really. Before the moulds are finalised, these are the test shots, this means it has all the quirks and errors that are usually ‘bug fixed’ out. And this is why it is made in such odd colours.
Only a handful of these ever exist, the only thing rarer are paint masters as those are hand painted by an artist and then sent to the factories to develop the commercial paint masks which are always a compromise.
In comparison production items are made in the thousands, or tens of thousands. With the exception of things like the Character Building super rares.
The packaging on this is fascinating, it shows a development point between the ‘Classic’ style guide (with the correct inner blister for the 11 sonic) and the final production version. This was eventually released in the yellow and blue new series packaging anyway. The fact that it is factory sealed in such unusual packaging makes it particularly unique.
