Hello Rusty
September 12th, 2014 - 10:16pmI think for the Clara should have a different head as in nightmare in silver Clara had a pony tail in not her hair flat like the figure
Destroyer of Worlds
August 14th, 2014 - 8:37amWho’s got an ultra rare yet?
magic
August 14th, 2014 - 7:14pmAnyone know if these super rares include a gold base?
As the base of the display brix cannot be gold as would be spotted (unless they only shipped in the 5 pack sets.
PanDoricus
August 15th, 2014 - 7:42amGood point magic – never thought of that!
CB Doctor
August 15th, 2014 - 12:04pmMaybe the inside of the base will be gold, so it is hidden from sight in stores.

Anonymous
November 1st, 2014 - 5:02pmI got the super rare Captain Jack today, and it doesn’t come with any kind of gold base; just the gold leaflet. I was so shocked though! Not sure whether to keep it or try to sell it. I don’t like they seller fees on eBay though!

August 15th, 2014 - 10:27pmThinking about it, if you don’t want to paint, you could use Oswin’s skirt.
Rebel Time Lord
August 13th, 2014 - 7:33amDoes any one know which shop is the commonest to find super rare character building figures ?
CB Doctor
August 13th, 2014 - 9:00pmThey can be found anywhere. So the best place is the shop that has the most amount of Series 4 figures.
The Silent Silent
August 13th, 2014 - 9:37pmI found one in Game
Anonymous
August 13th, 2014 - 11:58pmThe only time anything like this ever happened was when the Series 3 super rares were only ever sold from Tescos. Besides that every other series has had them everywhere.
Rebel Time Lord
August 15th, 2014 - 9:37pmThank you very much I have been wanting to know this since character building started and yes that’s how long I have been looking for a super rare ! My friend didn’t like doctor who and got alaya from series 1 first time. Maybe this is my series. Bring it on. If I get one I will try and show pictures 🙂
the eternal doctor
August 12th, 2014 - 11:08pmI like the cyberman and the doctor and handells
CB Doctor
August 12th, 2014 - 6:52pmI hope that they release a 12 Doctors set that includes variation of most previous Doctors, with the War Doctor included.
ETHAN KEARNEY

Destroyer of Worlds
August 12th, 2014 - 6:35amWhy have they not done Victorian Clara?
Tempus Fugit
August 12th, 2014 - 11:36amWould have needed a new head and a bustle on her dress.

August 12th, 2014 - 2:32amAm i the only guy whos hope in for a classic wave of figures with classic daleks cybermen zygons doctors in different costume companions and some classic monster am fed up with all these new CB wave never get them in time take ages here for them come out
CB Doctor
August 12th, 2014 - 8:34amI think that they should do that. Release the normal wave (series) in July/August, and the ‘sub wave’ (e.g classic) in January.
T4RD1S
August 12th, 2014 - 7:53pmyes, they should do that, itll be awesome!
Big D
September 19th, 2014 - 10:16pmIm with you on that. Infact I want far more classic Who stuff released across the board full stop.
Im fed up of waiting and waiting for classic 5″ figures and when they do come out theyre really expensive.
Also waiting for Dalek Collectors set 3 etc.

August 12th, 2014 - 2:13amthese people who said there weren’t any super rares are silly they look great
Anonymous
August 12th, 2014 - 11:49amNo, we said we wished there wouldn’t be any. Doesn’t matter how good it is, still doesn’t change the fact there’s only a few dozen of them.
William Noetling
August 11th, 2014 - 11:35pmThey look great, but so rare, I’ll never get one. Heck it takes six months just to get the regular issues. Seriously I JUST got my first Brix figures last weekend.
Doctorwhofan561
August 11th, 2014 - 10:59pmThis Clara’s better
alexanderop
August 11th, 2014 - 9:35pmCaptain Jack, I don’t see anything different to the regular version.
Crimson Horror, looks okay straight repaint.
Clara, I actually like this version better to the regular one with a blue shirt.
Wooden Cyberman, looks good.
Eleventh Doctor, looks pretty cool even though Handles looks like a regular Cyberman’s head just thrown in.
Overall I don’t like these Super Rares and don’t even really want any of them, except for Clara because I prefer her outfit.
Anonymous
August 11th, 2014 - 10:41pmIf you look closely at Handles, there is a little damage. Plus, the Crimson Horror 11 head is screaming.
Pariscub
August 12th, 2014 - 2:46pmCaptain Jack has a different shirt and no jacket
The Holographic Doctor
August 11th, 2014 - 8:38pmAt least they arent too rare anymore ! They look very good , I’d like the 11th with Handles
The Holographic Doctor
August 11th, 2014 - 8:39pmAh oops , I’ve read the leaflet wrong. They are really rare :O
Sam Richard Bentley
August 11th, 2014 - 8:37pmClara looks to be the nicest figure here – to be honest, I’m surprised they chose that costume to be rare and not, maybe, Oswin.
Sam Richard Bentley
August 11th, 2014 - 8:39pmAlso, shame the 11 has grey hair – older 11 didn’t have grey hair, not until he was ancient and then it was more white.
CB Doctor
August 11th, 2014 - 8:48pmIt’s not that grey, but he does have grey hair in The Time of the Doctor although it was hard to notice.
Sam Richard Bentley
August 11th, 2014 - 8:49pmEh, still – I feel it needs to be more brown. Obviously made it grey to emphasise that he is aged.
CB Doctor
August 11th, 2014 - 9:05pmYeah. They used the same tone as the 2nd doctor aged.
Sam Richard Bentley
August 12th, 2014 - 12:35amYes, but in the Two Doctors his hair WAS that colour. I mean, I understand why – I just like accuracy. Aha!
Destroyer of Worlds
August 12th, 2014 - 2:17pmInstead of doing another clara they should have done Victorian clara as the super rare and the main clara figure should be the TOTD outfit.
StetsonDoctor
August 11th, 2014 - 8:36pmWhat really annoys me is that that Doctor and Handles would’ve been so easy to feel if it weren’t in a DisplayBrix (I do love the Brix though). The irony is that I don’t suppose this figure would exsist without them because it would be TOO easy to find! 🙄 😡
The Twelfth Doctor
August 11th, 2014 - 8:33pmAnyone else noticed that 3/5 of these figures are from The Time of the Doctor?
Anonymous
August 11th, 2014 - 8:36pmyeah
Rebel Time Lord
August 13th, 2014 - 10:32amYep
CB Doctor
August 11th, 2014 - 8:26pmThis wave has a lot of good figures. My super rare favorites (in order) are:
1st – Raggedy Doctor
2nd – Wooden Cyberman
3rd – 11th Doctor with Handles
4th – Captain Jack Harkness
I hope they don’t continue with the super rare figures – it just annoys me when i like them.
NathanWho
August 30th, 2014 - 11:01ami got the raggedy doctor in my first pack
SAnthony1138
August 11th, 2014 - 8:26pmBeing in the US I will likely NEVER see these unless they come up on eBay. Even then, I’ll likely never own them. I don’t understand why they would drop the numbers so dramatically. First they make the War Doctor 1 per case (if that) and now they drop the super rates to 100 or less?
William Noetling
August 11th, 2014 - 11:59pmWhere did you see that the War Doctor is one per case?
SAnthony1138
August 12th, 2014 - 12:27amThe case breakdowns from those that have bought full cases in the other post. Also he is designated “rare” which means at most a case would have 2 each.
Drewsko
August 11th, 2014 - 8:22pmDarn, Character’s rarity preferences are annoying. It’s because of this I can’t get a Seventh Doctor figure with brown coat.
ANd look at those numbers! You had a better chance of finding Mr. Gold in the LEGO Collectible minifigures than these guys! I feel bad for anyone who really wanted Clara in her Time of the Doctor/Deep Breath costume.
CB Doctor
August 11th, 2014 - 8:21pmSince Character have stopped updating their Doctor Who CB site, I have made my own. It is by no means a replacement for this site, but is more like a replacement for Characters CB site:
http://characterbuildingnew.wix.com/doctorwho
booboo
August 11th, 2014 - 8:28pmwe used to have a huge CB site but it became impossible to keep up to date through lack of info
CB Doctor
August 11th, 2014 - 8:30pmI know. Characters lack of information makes me worried that they are going to cancel the brand.
booboo
August 11th, 2014 - 8:39pmlots never got released
series 3 of armed forces and series 2 of deadly 60 were all shown as well as more monsters V zombies but none of it appeared
SAnthony1138
August 11th, 2014 - 8:32pmHonestly – I hope they cancel it and give it to Lego. None of this super rare nonsense. Consistent style, size, compatibility and actual sets as well.
Grey and Blue
August 11th, 2014 - 9:50pmYeah! After this range if this is the end for character they should give the range to Lego. They are award winning and make really detailed printed figures. Capaldi’s wrinkles would look great. That’s the one flaw of this series his face looks too smooth. Lego’s stuff is proven and their sets are second to none. Imagine the tardis interior realised in the same sort of depth and detail of say the millennium falcon! I’m very happy to see CB continue but when they stop Lego should grab that!
booboo
August 11th, 2014 - 9:51pmi much prefer the CB figures over lego
Lego sets would be better though
the astronaut of death
August 11th, 2014 - 9:54pmI like lego better as they are much better to build
SAnthony1138
August 11th, 2014 - 10:07pmbooboo, honestly, I loved the CB figures too. But the Display Brix made me get apprehensive, the case ratio made me uncomfortable (I mean really, ONE War Doctor per case?!) and then the super rares and shrinking heads were the last bit for me.
CB can’t do quality. Ever get a LEGO figure with no face print? I got a River Song like that.
Grey and Blue
August 11th, 2014 - 10:32pmI mean this capaldi is a custom lego figure and already it looks far more accurate facially and detail of the costume wise than the CB one: http://www.boxmash.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/LEGO-Doctors.png
Still I’m glad there are still CB as I can at least get John and Capaldi and complete the first cycle of doctors. Plus clara and the paternoster gang (Ish) and the new cybermen.
William Noetling
August 11th, 2014 - 11:55pmI like your site, though I’m really looking for a place to TRADE doubles for figures I need
CB Doctor
August 12th, 2014 - 8:29amI agree with booboo – I love the CB figures, but the sets can sometimes be poor.
SAnthony1138 – I know what your saying, but it is just the evolution of Character Building. Lego didn’t start off like how it is now, and I’m sure that CB will get better and better.
CB Doctor
August 12th, 2014 - 8:32amWilliam Noetling – Thanks. I don’t think I will be looking to start trading anytime soon, but If the community grows, I might think about it.
SAnthony1138
August 12th, 2014 - 8:34amActually, outside of printing techniques and the move to minifigures LEGO is exactly the same. The very first brick ever made is compatible with any brick you pick up today. The minifigures from 20 years ago are the exact same size, shape and design as the minifigures today. The heads didnt shrink, they didnt change proportion.
The same cannot be said for CB. Oh, and you can actually get information on release dates and upcoming product from LEGO. CB doesnt do that either.
Anonymous
August 12th, 2014 - 1:03pmIn three years all the bricks and figures are all still compatible, nothing has changed there so that argument clearly isn’t true.
Rebel Time Lord
August 13th, 2014 - 10:35amI hope that capaldi Lego figure Is a prototype along with 6th,1st and war doctors
CB Doctor
August 29th, 2014 - 11:18pmSAnthony1138 – The bricks are compatible and always will be – they aren’t going to change. I was talking about the figures. The LEGO minifigures have been around for 36 years, while CB figures have been around for 3-4 years now. They are slowly getting better. For example, the detail in the new figures.
CB Doctor
August 11th, 2014 - 8:17pmThe 11th Doctor is the first figure in the history of Character Building to include 2 accessories.
I also suppose this would make it easier to feel if they had continues using the packs.
Trenzalore
August 11th, 2014 - 8:16pmI’ll be the first to say it, there’s about as much chance of me getting these than there is the UK being named driest country 😛
Trenzalore
August 11th, 2014 - 8:17pmStill some really good figures here (another reason I don’t like them)
the astronaut of death
August 11th, 2014 - 8:19pmLOL 🙂 🙂
StetsonDoctor
August 11th, 2014 - 8:15pmThese are beautiful, such a shame that they’re so rare 🙁
76 Totters Lane
August 11th, 2014 - 8:12pmThey’ve certainly cut down on the amount of super rares they make.
ALBERT GALEA
August 12th, 2014 - 1:13pmSo now they will be even harder to find.
the astronaut of death
August 11th, 2014 - 8:10pmI like the clara
