      does it need many pieces

      1. It only needs as many pieces as it needs to look like the TARDIS
      2. Probably more stable that way – No fancy mechanisms (Dalek Factory conveyor belt), unnecessarily flimsy staircases (2010 TARDIS) or pointlessly tricky and flimsy extras (Dalek Spaceship). Looks like the best set so far.

The more I look at the Series 4 (TBC) poster the more the Dalek looks like an Ironside. Is this wishful thinking. Thoughts?

As far as we can see, there’s just the two sets displayed, and the cyberhead has been cancelled, but there could always be surprises (That said, the only unannounced release so far has been the Display Brix wave)

Does the TARDIS have lights? In one of the first pictures, it looks like the base of the console is glowing.

I think they may have added a small light underneath it, probably won’t be included but you could add one yourself.

I love the fact that we’re getting a John Hurt Doctor as well as the new Peter Capaldi one. It means that we can line up all 14 Doctors in a row.

There isn’t a single figure or set here I wouldn’t buy, once the paint job on the Zygon is finished. The display brix look great too: they should make empty ones available for sale so we can retrofit the entire collection.

No doubt we’ll end up with enough duplicate figures to cover it.

I’m just looking forward to the Capaldi & Hurt figures, and that new TARDIS. My plan is to have every regeneration (including 2 different Tennant figures) just standing around the TARDIS. I was going to get the previous TARDIS set, but I like this one better.

Love this wave. Can’t wait for its release. Glad they had redesigned the Tardis interior to be move round. The square looking mock up they did last year wasn’t right at all.

My only fear though is that the 8th Doctor pre War Doctor will be a super rare. That will drive me insane:)

The sad thing about CB is the designs have got tonnes better since Series One. Of course, this is a great thing, but if you ask me, the Matt and Karen mini-figs look no where near as good as the others, not very much like the actors, and they don’t really look like they fit in with this pretty detailed new mini-figs.

I think most toy lines have a tendency to to change style over the years, however, in this case, I am sure these will fit right in.

I do kind of wish the would maybe do an updated Matt headscuplt, at least. Although, I have NEVER liked Amy Pond’s mini-fig hair. Looks nothing like it.
