February 2nd, 2017 - 7:15amI didn’t realise the hoodies were different colours. Made me like them even more!
Weeping Angel
January 31st, 2017 - 7:02pmI remember when Dr who merchandise was popular and u could find it in any supermarket but now its sort-after
RORY DOCTOR RIVER POND
January 29th, 2017 - 6:59pmI really like the 12th doctor figures.. but apart from that, 10, and the stretchy cyber there’s not much new stuff..
and how come there 10 not 15 quid? not that I’m complaining but I’m surprised
booboo
January 29th, 2017 - 7:38pmI think they are £10 because character had to shift several thousand cancelled figures that were destined for the USA market
RORY DOCTOR RIVER POND
January 30th, 2017 - 10:45amDo you mean the fourth figure that was never released?
booboo
January 30th, 2017 - 11:15amno they (UT USA) cancelled the order for the whole lot, we don’t know what the 4th figures was, we may never know
The Outcast
January 30th, 2017 - 11:19amNo, he’s talking about the 12th Doctors and Tux 10’s that were meant to be for the US market. UT US cancelled their order so all the US figures have to be sold in the UK aswell.
RORY DOCTOR RIVER POND
January 30th, 2017 - 2:42pmoh! that’s quite bad that they cancelled it
TDOCO
January 28th, 2017 - 5:52pmStretchy Cyberman? Well i never knew that! Metal that can stretch(!) Interesting.
“Cus thats how meta and steel work kids” explained no teacher or scientist ever lol
Mr baker
January 28th, 2017 - 11:38amWhen will we get some series 9 figures? There are some many cool carractars they could release
For example
One ghost
Ashilder
Mire
Osgood
Bonnie
Zygon egg with zygon
One of the sandmen
Mayor me and raven
Rigsy
The viel
Rassilon
The general with swapable heads
Cloister wrath
That’s more then enough carractars for at least two waves
Mr baker
January 28th, 2017 - 11:39amOops
The Outcast
January 28th, 2017 - 11:59amIts unlikely we’ll get any of these. Of this list, the only I think we’ll get at some point is the Zygon, however it probably wouldn’t come with the Egg thing. Not trying to be mean, just trying to be realistic. That being said, most of this list would make great figures and I think we would have got all of them back in the Golden days.
Cyberman Bill
January 28th, 2017 - 6:38pmAgreed. I don’t see us getting any of these unfortunately. The money is just not there to be made. Good list of figures though

January 28th, 2017 - 9:38amI ordered the 3 figures of forbidden planet and when I log on to my account it shows the order and the PayPal transaction went through but i still haven’t got a confirmation email. Do I need a confirmation email or is the order on my account good enough. (I’ve had problems with the 8th dr fig and when BBC store closed down and I really don’t want to miss out on these)
booboo
January 28th, 2017 - 9:50ami don’t remember getting an order confirmation form them to be honest and we have ordered a lot from them
Anonymous
January 28th, 2017 - 9:57amOk good! Thank you.
Anonymous
January 28th, 2017 - 10:00amI can’t actually remember ever getting confirmation emails now!
Anonymous
January 28th, 2017 - 1:41pmWhich Forbidden Planet?
Cyberlover
January 26th, 2017 - 3:39pmWhere are all the 3.75 inch figures?
booboo
January 26th, 2017 - 3:49pmthat lines finished
Dalek4ever
January 26th, 2017 - 5:35pmWho actually liked the 3.75 line anyway. They should have just continued the 5 inch line. I’m glad they stopped it
booboo
January 26th, 2017 - 5:52pmmass market retailers didn’t want the 5″ line, that’s well established now, we are lucky it kept going due to the efforts of certain people, it never actually ended just evolved.
retailers wanted the 3.75″ and its interesting it died as soon as became clear there would be no show on air for over a year
personally i would have loved wave 5 and as many Daleks as they wanted to throw at it
Dalek4ever
January 26th, 2017 - 6:28pmTrue. I would have wanted a wave 5 but I don’t really do anything with 3.75 figures. Just kind of let them gather dust
Anonymous
January 26th, 2017 - 6:53pmI liked the 3.75″ figures a lot..it’s a real shame they’re no more. Other franchises seem to be resorting to the bigger 5″-6″ lines now so maybe the Doctor Who line will do quite well
reverting back to 5.5″.
Dalek4ever
January 26th, 2017 - 6:59pmYes. I guess we collectors are used to the 5inch wave
Ian
January 27th, 2017 - 4:34pmTo be fair to the retailers, Character didn’t push the 3.75″ much. Plus the quality was poor.
As for retailers not wanting 5″ Tesco now sell the 5.5″ Star Wars Black series….
The Werewolf
January 27th, 2017 - 5:08pmThe Star Wars Black Series are 6″, and there are films out, it’s gonna be more popular than Doctor Who.
Cyberlover
January 27th, 2017 - 5:49pmSo whats going to replace it for the figure of the news series then. Is their a press release saying its done?
booboo
January 27th, 2017 - 5:56pmBoth people at Character and Their PR company say there are no plans for any more 3,75″ figures
I think we are down to one or 2 core figures such as Bill possibly and variants for now
Cyberslayer
January 27th, 2017 - 6:41pmOnly more proof character shouldnt have the liscense if they wont use it properly
booboo
January 27th, 2017 - 6:47pmAt the Moment I doubt anyone else would want it.
we should be lucky we are getting anything at all to be honest
Cyberslayer
January 27th, 2017 - 7:00pmIts basically like nothing st this rate anyways. Id rather have badly made figures of new monsters then none at all
Anonymous
January 27th, 2017 - 9:32pmTesco may have the Star Wars black series figures, but I don’t know if they’re selling, the Tesco near me was selling them for £7.50! Bloody marvellous though, though that could have been a mistake
Ian
January 27th, 2017 - 10:58pmIs the classic line now over? I would like to know for certain and other would.
The Werewolf
January 28th, 2017 - 2:42amWell, depends if Tesco, like Home Bargains got offloaded with the dodgy ones, Home Bargains is selling some of the 6″ Black Series for £5.99, though its mostly just pegwarmer Finn left.
The whole, “retailers don’t want larger figures” thing is just Doctor Who AFAIK. Other ranges including Marvel Legends and DC Multiverse also have 6″ figures.
The Outcast
January 28th, 2017 - 10:41amWell Doctor Who is current when there is a series on. A couple of core figures would do me quite nicely, IF there are some villains in each wave. Its always bugged me that they don’t make many villains. Things like the 2013 Cybermen would sell as:
A) They are Big villains
B) Are good Army builders
C) Have a lot of variants
D) Much wanted by Collectors
E) CO already have the scans/moulds for them
I still fail to understand why they haven’t made them yet. I mean they even work with the previously released Missy figure.
Ian
January 29th, 2017 - 8:26pmThey were around since series 7B. So the show not being on last year may have an an impact but not the exact reason I think, they were not well made or promoted. Stores didn’t display them in proment positions.
Tenny
January 25th, 2017 - 10:02pmBooboo which is your favourite of the two Twelfth Doctors based on what you saw at the Toy Fair?
booboo
January 26th, 2017 - 7:40amchecked trousers
When The Doctor Was Me
January 25th, 2017 - 9:39pmbooboo just a couple of questions as you’ve seen the products in person.
Are the 12th Doctor heads removable and are they still taller than the other 5inch figures?
Are there any tweaks to the TARDIS play set in anyway?
booboo
January 26th, 2017 - 7:40amTardis set looked the same, I didnt try the head, size wise difficult to tell but it looked the same as the previous 12
shatner
January 25th, 2017 - 9:33pmi am so glad we are getting these as i was a late comer to season 6 when i started collecting. sorry to hear about 3.75 but everyone really wanted 5inch. I ordered 1 of each so far and will get more for kids later on birthdays. is it a bit worrying that usa cancelled. does that mean there will be even more problems with figures in future. I pray for the day we get a selection of new villains, monsters and characters again.
CJ
January 25th, 2017 - 9:13pmDoes anyone know if these 12th Doctor heads are removable? The Time of the Doctor head is still far superior, and Id probably swap them if I got this.
The Outcast
January 26th, 2017 - 1:14amI’d say that they are, as they were removable on the Series 8 version, but we won’t know until someone actually has the figure.
The Silent Silent
January 25th, 2017 - 5:31pmWill the re-release items be repackaged in any way because if not doesn’t that mean there is a lack of consistency in the packaging ???
booboo
January 25th, 2017 - 5:45pmits only really the make your own sonic thats out of place
the 10th sonic and journal are in diamond classic packaging which is still in use
my gut feeling is this stock exists now and character need to move it on, its to random otherwise.
I also think the figures and playset have been opened up to the UK market because character now have to move the stock UT USA cancelled and its also a way testing the market again to see how much interest there is
the 3.75″ line is dead so i hope this all works out
Dalek4ever
January 25th, 2017 - 5:25pmIs the stretchy cyber man even out? I mean I might get it but I kind of want to see it in like toys r us and make up my mind. If it’s over the price of 3.75 figures I will just leave it
booboo
January 25th, 2017 - 5:29pmno not out yet, later in the year
Dalek4ever
January 25th, 2017 - 6:56pmThanks. And these 12th doctor figures areleased so good. I pre ordered both of them. My fave one was TGWD But the actual UTL/BTF/TWWL/TZINVASION and Inversion and SNM variant is amazing
Henry
January 25th, 2017 - 2:30amWhy another Twelfth Doctor sonic? It looks identical, and why not include the doctor with the playset? Will the playset be released in America as well?
The Outcast
January 25th, 2017 - 2:55amI reckon they should have changed the Green light mode to Red for this release. Would have been a bit different.
booboo
January 25th, 2017 - 8:38amits not another its the same one as part of their Doctor catalogue, maybe they will change it sometime
booboo
January 25th, 2017 - 8:43amthe playset was I think mainly for the USA market as it was not widely available there but the order has been cancelled for now
one wonders if this would not have been so widely available in the UK otherwise
prototype dalek
January 25th, 2017 - 8:48amWell its already available to pre order from both FP’s
Who?
January 25th, 2017 - 2:00amWhere were their brains when someone at their marketing meeting said, “Ooh, I know! A stretchy Cyberman! It’s just what people will want! Let’s produce one rather than any of the sensible figures we could do!” Ah well, at least the Capaldi figures are nice.
booboo
January 25th, 2017 - 8:40amThe stretchy Cyberman is part of a stretchy range and was not on display with the main Doctor Who items but with the other stretch figures, its a separate line using current licences.
Anonymous
January 26th, 2017 - 1:23pmOh lordy, a stretch cybie was odd enough? Does that mean the Who range is going to get more stretchies?
whovian
January 28th, 2017 - 5:45pmI think the stretch cyberman must be part of the stretch armstrong family, as armstrong now has3 different styled dogs and three different coloured octopus’ (octopi).
All that been said, im done with the line. Too many variants of the same character and overpriced. I still remember the good old days when the 5 inch figures were only £6.99.
I still remember going to argos and getting Martha Jones for the first time. She was my first series 3 figure.
booboo
January 28th, 2017 - 5:54pmThey were only £6.99 because they made 10’s of thousands of every figure because everyone wanted them
now its just a few thousand of each so £9.99 is very good value, especially with a thing called inflation
£6.99 would be £9.29 today, at the same level of manufacture
Having said that if UT are out of the picture for now i don’t see how they can move forward at the moment
The Legend Doctor
January 25th, 2017 - 1:11amI am going to order most of this to be honest, 10s Playset = Yes 10th Figure = Yes 12th Doc both varients = Yes Stretchy Cyberman = No Re Released stuff = Yes :3 Also shoutout to my good pals Who connect to me threw twitter and here! Cyberman Bill and Jordan Scott!!! 😀 and Of course my friend — The Silent Silent
Jordan Scott
January 25th, 2017 - 3:21pmNo problem! I love the little community that we have going on thanks to this site! ☺
Cyberman Bill
January 28th, 2017 - 11:25amYour welcome my friend. Whovians must stick together
Exterminator
January 24th, 2017 - 11:21pmA classic Tardis console room playset as seen in hell bent would’ve sold 1000’s more than the re-issued 9th/10th dr’s one.
I still say Character are missing out on making big money by not doing one.
The Outcast
January 25th, 2017 - 3:06amI’ve always wondered why they haven’t done something like this.
Hell bent TARDIS Playset: Plastic floor piece (you slot a cardboard floor into this bit), 3 pillars (which connect to the floor), 2 cardboard wall pieces [Wall1: 3D Looking roundels, Wall2: Weird computer bank thing this interior had] (slots between the pillars to be walls), Console (Painted white).
1963 TARDIS Playset: Basically above, but with a different wall decor for wall 2 [Now the photographic roundels] and bluey/green Console.
Inferno set: Variant 3rd Doctor and repaint console (to represent one from story)
I was also thinking that they could include plastic doors which would be plastic but have the roundels as a cardboard backing (Allowing them to be reused in other Classic series playsets (If they want to go down that route)).
prototype dalek
January 25th, 2017 - 8:49amTheir is so much they are missing out on
Olly
January 28th, 2017 - 5:47pmExterminator and The Outcast, we can dream i guess
EndlessTimelord
January 24th, 2017 - 10:41pmCould the 5th item been this stretchy Cyberman?
Anonymous
January 25th, 2017 - 7:06amPossibly…if so then they probably saw the response the TARDIS release got and decided not to announce it to spare getting the same again
The Outcast
January 26th, 2017 - 1:19amI don’t think it was. I believe the UT US announcement was just figures, not random thing (I could be wrong though).
booboo
January 26th, 2017 - 7:43amI don’t see UT announcing this, its purely a Character item, but I suppose it is possible
DalekAgent
January 24th, 2017 - 10:19pmIm gonna order the 10th Doctor figure but i just cant make my mind up which 12th Doctor variant to order aswell
DannyTheNerd
January 25th, 2017 - 9:45amI’d get the Girl Who Dies variant. There’s more detail on there, and me is all about the detail
DalekAgent
January 25th, 2017 - 7:38pmYeah i eventually decided to go with that variant anyway because it does look more detailed compared to the other variant
Weeping Angel
January 24th, 2017 - 7:22pmwhere can you get the personalise your own sonic set from? is it the same as the last one?
booboo
January 24th, 2017 - 8:13pmits the same, not sure what’s behind this and the journal release to be honest
if I see them go up for order anywhere I will do a post anyway
Weeping Angel
January 27th, 2017 - 9:01amThx
The_Z4Z
January 24th, 2017 - 7:19pmDoesn’t the cyberman head on the side of the box look like the lego cyberman head?
Jordan Scott
January 24th, 2017 - 7:28pmYes it does!
Anonymous
January 24th, 2017 - 10:19pmThats because it is.
They photoshopped the LEGO torso to have shoulders and then they put on a stretched image of the LEGO Cyberman head.
Anonymous
January 24th, 2017 - 10:28pmDon’t think they would be allowed to use a Lego image, it’s
a completely different company and it would be lego copyright.
booboo
January 25th, 2017 - 8:41amits not the lego figure
MickeySmith07
January 24th, 2017 - 7:14pmOut of all the figures they put in the TARDIS why the 12th Doctor? Surely the 10th would have been better. I can’t wait to get these but I’ll have to wait before I order them #Broke
booboo
January 24th, 2017 - 7:19pmthat may have been one of the attendees, you could pick these up if you wanted to
KORSAIR
January 24th, 2017 - 7:30pm5.5 figures are out of scale with the playset.
Cyberman Bill
January 25th, 2017 - 12:11am@Korsair…. No They’re Not!! There is no difference between the 5.5 inch and the original figures. THEY ARE THE SAME SIZE!! Whete have you been? This has already been discussed over a year ago
The real master
January 24th, 2017 - 7:10pmI’m stuck on ordering these know or waiting to see if toyrus gets them
Omega63
January 24th, 2017 - 7:08pmAny news on their availability?
As in will they be in Toys R Us too as it’s much easier for me to get to
Omega63
January 24th, 2017 - 7:09pmAlso, real lazy branding considering they didn’t update the packaging for sonics. How awesome would it be to have them in new Collector Series packaging that fits the brand identity and new products. May also get more sales and to the average Joe be knocked off as a new product.
booboo
January 24th, 2017 - 7:10pmthey are available to anyone who wants to order them but that doesn’t mean everyone will
Omega63
January 24th, 2017 - 7:14pmAt Toys R Us?
booboo
January 24th, 2017 - 7:18pmwe dont know if they have ordered any this time
The Moment
January 24th, 2017 - 6:39pmJust ordered both Twelfth Doctor figures!
The Living Snowman
January 24th, 2017 - 6:39pmIt just baffles me as to why they haven’t produces a new Cyberman figure, or a Zygon, or even re-release a basic updated gold Dalek, but without electronic sounds! They’d all sell fantastically, both to collectors and spontaneous buyers!
The Living Snowman
January 24th, 2017 - 6:40pmNot that I dislike the 3 figures shown here.
Cheesypie
January 24th, 2017 - 6:04pmthose 12th doctor figures and the tenth doctor figure looks…. FANTASTIC!!!!!!
booboo
January 24th, 2017 - 6:17pmthey are, having seen them 1st hand i dont think anyone will be disappointed in these
Cheesypie
January 24th, 2017 - 7:07pmYes, I just hope the heads are removable to make my red velvet coat twelfth doctor custom figure that bit more accurate
Anonymous
January 24th, 2017 - 5:33pmThe stretchy cyberman is cool! although a 5.5″ figure would have made more sense…
itzPrew
January 24th, 2017 - 5:11pmAm I the only person that likes the strechy cyberman?? Now they have the sculpt for a cyberman they might change it into a figure! As for the other figures: 10 in Tux I might get, not particualry fussed. The two 12 variants are amazing, excited to order them. Lastly, the TARDIS, I’m very disappointed that they’ve ‘redone’ it because I among a few others have the original and as some fans may want this TARDIS I’m still awaiting the new 12 TARDIS. I might still get it as my version is VERY old and missing pieces and the noises are way to loud that they should be.
Tom Baker Plush
January 24th, 2017 - 5:13pmI doubt they will use the stretchy Cyberman mould for a figure. The detail is very weak so it’s clearly been made especially for moulding the stretchy rubber stuff the Cyberman is made of
Anonymous
January 25th, 2017 - 12:35amAlso they already had one for 3.75″ which they haven’t done anything with so.
