Hang on, I paid £15.00 to pre order the 10th doctor on forbidden planet. Will it still cost me £15.00 or be reduced to £10.00.

Also does pre ordering the item take the money straight away or when it is dispatched etc.

I’d drop them an e-mail if I was you. I don’t think they act like Amazon (who will automatically discount your order if the price dipped after you placed your order) so I wouldn’t be surprised if we get charged the £15 otherwise.

Might be a good idea to cancel your order and re-order it

Ah! Good news, The Moment – I’ve just had an-mail from them about the price drop saying they will now only charge £9.99 (plus P&P) and if you paid at the time of ordering (I.e. if you use PayPal) they will refund the £5 difference

These are looking great! Can’t wait to see them in shops! Could this mean they’re going to see how the figures do this year and if they sell well it will go back to 5inch days? Also did you ask if anything else is in the works?

As much as I hate to say it, honestly I don’t think these are the right figures to be testing the water for a 5inch figure reboot. The 10th Doctor figure is a little outdated, and the 12th Doctor figures aren’t of him in his most iconic outfits (maybe you could argue the ‘holey’ jumper figure is..).
I’m sure a figure of modern version of an iconic monster would sell far better (you know the one.. oh wait maybe 2.. oh wait, several ones.)

I wish that they would come back though.

Great to see these. Although that stretchy cyberman is a bit odd.

Although there’s nothing new, this is fantastic! All three figures have been improved and have a great likeness and are cheaper than the previous figures! The other stuff isn’t too bad either, will probably end up getting the TARDIS playset and maybe even a stretch cyberman!

I am sorry but it really annoys me that they have told us all about the funko takeover on the lead up and showed nothing concerning this. Is this going to be the second toy fair with NO new exciting action figure images?? REALLY!?

I’ve honestly no interest in the 5.5 line, can’t be doing with yet another scale of figures, as for the stretchy Cyberman no thanks had it been a proper figure 5.5 or not I would’ve bought it. Really no need for more reissues of sonics, we’ve had them all before.

They are honestly no different from the 5 inch

    • Gareth Pugh

      January 24th, 2017 - 3:36pm

Despite them now talking about ‘5.5″ these are in fact the same as the old so-called 5″ range

    • Jordan Scott

      January 24th, 2017 - 3:51pm

It’s not “another new line”, where have you been?

The ‘5.5’ inch line is actually what the original 5 inch line SHOULD of been called.

I don’t actually think the Cyberman looks all that bad, it’s not great, but it is passable! I’ll buy one. And two of all the figures. And possibly the TARDIS as my original is in pretty bad shape.

This toy fair is where CO showcase new products to the toy industry. As there doesn’t appear to be any 3.75″ figures on show I would assume the next wave has been cancelled.

I really like the Twelfth Doctor figures. Just something about them that really says ‘The Twelfth Doctor’, far more than the series 8 Twelve figure did. Bit of a shame there wasn’t anything new though.

I agree, I guess it’s down to both variants having a better ressemblance to Peter Capaldi than the previous 4 variants did. They also have more going on and aren’t as bland.

    • The Outcast

      January 24th, 2017 - 11:37am

I agree about them not as bland as the previous versions. I can’t wait for CO to repaint the hoodie figure and make 5+ more variants. 😛

    January 24th, 2017 - 11:24am

The 12th Doctor figures look amazing, much more interesting, with better likeness then the bland ones before.

And that stretchy cyberman looks almost as good as a 5″ Nightmare in Sliver Cyberman figure would. Shame they didn’t make a mold for that instead.

Pre-ordered the 10th Dr and the 12th Dr in checked trousers. They all look so great!

And a £9.99 price tag!! This more or less confirms that the 5″ figures are back in general retail. Brilliant!

At first glance I thought the stretching cyberman was a new figure, shame it’s not. The stretchy one doesn’t interest me at all just like the one you shoot and it falls apart didn’t.

    • WouldYouLikeAJellyBaby?

      January 24th, 2017 - 11:25am

I would too but I guessed before that the figures that were already revealed would be the only ones on display. Still the Twelfth Doctor hoodie variants look way better in hand and if that’s what they’re going to look like when they’re released then they’ll easily be the best figures of Twelve we’ve gotten so far.

    • prototype dalek

      January 24th, 2017 - 12:44pm

      Same here Exterminator.

Maybe after Series 10 we might get some new figures

    • The Outcast

      January 24th, 2017 - 12:54pm

Or, if my prediction is correct, during series 10.

  • MJY71

    January 24th, 2017 - 11:17am

The figures are tremendous. But the cyberman I do not get. If they had spent their money manufacturing a 5′ cyberman action figure they would fly off the shelves! As an army builder I would have bought at least 8 at the price of £9.99. Stretchy cyberman will be staying where it is.
