January 21st, 2014 - 1:46pmWhy does the Tenth Doctor, Amy and the Asylum Dalek look so awful? The Zygon isn’t great either but it’s not as bad as those three. I hope that those are the prototypes and the actual figures will look better. What scale are those three anyway? I couldn’t tell by the picture.

The 10th Doctor is far better than ALL the 5 inch counterparts, and the asylum Dalek is equally incredible!!!
Amy’s face is iffy (not something I’d thought I would say LOL) but is an ok figure on the whole
I think this wave has converted me to the new scale, and I never thought that would happen!!!

I too prefer the 5″ scale, but things must change.
At first I hated this line, but this wave has changed my opinion and shown me the potential of these figures, and there seems to be a lot of excitement ahead
And I meant that the 10th Doctor is better than the 5″ 10th Doctors, and resembles his appearance in The Day of The Doctor, not to mention the fact they’ve actually given him his brown suit!!!
But I respect your opinion

Also is the wave with the 3.75 inch Regeneration Caaldi going to be released soon? I thought I saw something about February for the Figures. Uh also do you you some more pictures to upload? I would like to see a close up of the Capaldi Figure and that Sonic Screwdriver thing on the bottom left.

January 21st, 2014 - 2:27pmCapaldi is a 3.75” figure, both of them (including the “main outfit” one) they just used the old 5” pictures because they haven’t made the new ones or haven’t got approval to use them yet.

January 21st, 2014 - 1:02pmThese all would be excellent if not for two things: one, being no elbow articulation on Amy Pond and the Tenth Doctor; and two being the lack of any metallic Paradigm Daleks. Unpopular they may be, the Eleventh Doctor just won’t look right facing the Daleks without facing the Daleks his era debuted. Though, admittedly, that Dalek ship is pretty cool looking.

January 21st, 2014 - 2:27pmI agree the lack of metallic Paradigm Daleks is disappointing but to be honest I’d rather have them in the 5″ scale. Hopefully CO can find a red paint that works for the Drone as I believe that was the reason why it was dropped from the 11th TRU set and replaced with the Strategist (which is brilliant).

January 21st, 2014 - 5:09pm@Hellbelly: Ah, okay, then, I should have known they wouldn’t have been so lazy as not to include articulation on those figures.
@A New Dalek Paradigm: The problem is that they won’t make any mold changes to five inch New Series figures, so the only hope for a completely accurate metallic Paradigm Dalek is in the 3.75-inch line. Also, it just feels wrong having a new size of figures for Matt Smith without including what were supposed to be the main Daleks of his era.

Better than last years, but I reckon half of this stuff won’t actually be realeased until next year, like the 3rd wave of the figures, as they have new season monsters in it. But yeah, great work from a character this year, excelled themselves, I’m happy, and I would love to collect alltof this stuff

Is red dress Clara going to be Oswin? Really pleased the Hide set is still a thing I’ve been looking forward to that.
