B&M 2025 Revenge of the Cybermen Set

A fresh new drop of Doctor Who sets at B&M

Character Options is excited to announce the details of the 2nd drop of Doctor Who Collector Sets for B&M Stores, for 2025. Available in September, these two exciting new sets will be the perfect addition to any fan’s collection.

For fans of one of the Doctor’s most feared enemies, the first set – Revenge of the Cybermen boast three impressive Cybermen figures whereas the second Dalek Battle Squad offers another old enemy in the form of an Imperial Dalek and Special Weapons Dalek from Remembrance of the Daleks. Each pack features a back of pack description, and details on the inspiration behind each, a summary of which is below.

Revenge of the Cyberman Collector Figure Set (08438)

This impressive re-release of a well-loved set includes updated and improved versions of the Cyber Leader and two Cybermen as well as a Cybermat accessory.

In the episode from Season 12 of the Classic Series – The Cybermen release a mysterious space plague aboard Space Beacon Nerva to kill the crew. After infecting Sarah, she is sent via transmat with Harry to the nearby planet Voga to purge the cyber poison from her body.

Another problem quickly materializes, as a battered troop of Cybermen arrive in an ancient Cyber Ship with plans to destroy Voga, ‘The Planet Of gold’ utterly, before restarting their Cyber War. Using humans, and The Doctor to carry bombs to the centre of Voga, they come perilously close to success before finally being obliterated on their escape, by the Vogans redirecting a rocket against their ship.

I will be interested to see comparison photos of these new figures with the original figures that were released. Will it be enough to tempt me to buy the set again…..The chest plate has the most obvious at this point with a lighter grey middle section and the light bronze details at the top and bottom of this section.

These look amazing, I have the original set but it’s always great to get the updated paint apps on the newer release!

Between this and the Special Weapons Dalek it’s a good time for rereleasing hard to find figures

Great for those who don’t have the originals.

Just as I escape B&M, they pull me back in. Wonder how many weeks distribution of these will take.

The Cyber Suicide Squad – gold is the one colour you don’t want to put on a Cyberman model.

It probably explains why the Cybermat’s apparently died in the second picture.

Yeah, All Three Cybermen are Clearly looking at the Cybermat and saying I know we shouldn’t have put Gold on our Outfits.

The bottom picture with them all standing round the dead cybermat(cat) looks like they could be saying it’s got at the Daleks gold top milk !

“In this story from the final season of Classic Doctor Who” – continuing CO’s noble tradition of slight back-of-the-box cockups (not as bad as HotD#13 referring to “William Hurndall”, at least).

But the important thing is they look great. Our B&M still hasn’t received the HotD#21/TARDIS sets yet, so I’m not sure what my chances of finding these anywhere other than eBay are, but they’re definitely both must-haves.
