B&M 2020 Ace Set UK Product Code 364315. Available from 8th November 2020.

This set celebrates Remembrance of the Daleks from Season 25 Episode 3, first broadcast in October 1988.

The TARDIS arrives in London in 1963, where the Doctor and Ace discover that two rival factions of Daleks – one loyal to the Dalek Emperor and one to the Dalek Supreme – are seeking the Hand of Omega, a powerful Time Lord device that the first Doctor hid there during an earlier sojourn on Earth.

The Daleks are focusing their search around Coal Hill School – the school that the Doctor’s grand-daughter Susan attended – while a military unit led by Group Captain Gilmore is attempting to resist their incursions.

The figures in this set feature the Imperial Dalek and Ace as well as accessories including backpack and RPG launcher.

Speaking of the new release, Al Dewar, Creative Director said: “This year has seen a cascade of new sets for collectors and fans and these latest two sets are favourites of mine because they represent unique moments in Doctor Who that many fans including myself remember… wonderful stuff!’

Quantities at Aberdeen as of 10:25 this morning:

    7 Davros

    8 friends 13th
    15 companions 3rd/4th

    5 TARDIS with 5th

    11 friends, foe 13th
    7 companions 4th
    12 UNIT Axos

Looks like they’ve sold out of UNIT Zygons as they had some a while back but not for a few weeks now.

Still no Ace sets, and that’s the one I’m looking for, so hopefully soon.

Been on the hunt for the 2 x sets over the last couple of days in Sheffield for my son.

    1. 28/11 – none in Drakehouse, Crystal Peaks
    2. 30/11 – none in Meadowhall Retail Park
    3. 30/11 – none in Meersbrook, Sheffiedl
    4. 1/12 – Success!!!! Managed to get hold of both new sets.
Only 1 Coal Hill School left (which I bought) but plenty of the Davros sets.

I hope this helps others as it’s really irritating to see so many scalpers on Ebay selling 1 or both of these sets for inflated prices.

Just picked up both new sets at Braintree (Essex) B&M. Just put out today, think I was the first to pick them up. Annoyingly though, the grunt who put them on the shelves decided to put the security stickers on the top of the boxes (all of them). Picked them both up anyway, now have the joyous job of trying to pick them off.
They are on the bottom shelve to the right of the first wave sets, if anyone is looking for them.

This set and the Witch’s Familiar one have started appearing for order on Amazon.com for US buyers. Current shipping estimate is February 1st. They showed up like 2 days ago; only just now getting around to posting about it. Ordered my sets yesterday. After finally getting an order from GOGS (History Of The Daleks Set #3 and #4) they appear to have learned some lessons from their first go around of selling the B&M sets in the US. I had no problems getting those 2 History sets from them this time around.

Shame Ace doesn’t have her nitro nine and baseball bat. Still, understandable, probably cost or something. Cool to have Ace with rocket launcher and an IMPERIAl DALEK! Anyone seen any scalpers?

Against my general wishes, I have again bought one of this set on eBay, I selected the lowest priced one I could find. In the extremely unlikely event of me getting to B&M this side of Christmas, I will pick up another 2 sets, one of which I will repaint the Ace to have a red t shirt like in Survival and one which I will just sell the Ace. I will also have a second look for the Third & Fourth Doctor companions set. Maybe pick up the Magicians Apprentice set though its not high on my list.

Great Homer Street had some, but one had awful paint bleed so I’d recommend giving a quick scan over the Dalek.
