This Daleks Collector Set features the Daleks as seen onscreen in the second serial of the first ever season of Doctor Who entitled ‘The Daleks’. These very first Daleks stood a little over four feet tall and when seen in the early days of black and white television were utterly alien in look. They all looked virtually identical in their livery of silver, mid grey and blue hemispheres.
The original eyestalks had special lens apertures designed to become larger or smaller like the pupil of an eye and the guns were straight metal rails with inset plastic octagons. To identify each prop the casings had parallel black lines etched on numbering them 1 to 4. This have been replicated as accurately as possible and come beautifully presented in Heritage Doctor Who brand packaging with specially created inserts.

June 23rd, 2020 - 3:40pmI think we should have a history of the daleks set with a re-release classic Davros and maybe a dalek from whatever story it’s from because classic Davros figures are really expensive to buy.
Tom
June 24th, 2020 - 4:34amI’ve got a Genesis, Resurrection and Remembrance Davros, from sets I bought 10 years ago. Still three of the best figures made by Character. Yes – everyone deserves to get these figures and they should be re-released. Dalek sets from those three stories would sell like crazy.

June 21st, 2020 - 1:02amJust watched Batmanmarch’s review on youtube – wow – the level of detail on these makes ths set a must have. They are numbered on the back like the original props, one has a dilated pupil the other doesn’t, the silver paint is as bright as the nemesis Cybermen… fantastic attention to detail.

June 17th, 2020 - 1:51pmI have one of these Daleks but getting this would build a bigger Skaro army!
I do like how they look like they are having a fight in the box hitting each others plungers like kids lol
I hope we get a re-realise of the Imperial Daleks as I only have one of those and I’d like a army of them too but at non eBay prices.

June 17th, 2020 - 1:51pmDo you think these sets could warrant new attachment sculpts, like a slim version 2005 claw arm dalek from parting of the ways and however many variants of emperor guard daleks from the same story or a mutant scoop dalek from power of the daleks, a chromatin solution dalek from daleks in Manhattan

June 17th, 2020 - 1:19pmHistory of daleks set #1 and #2. I am assuming this is the start of a series where we will get all the daleks eventually. Im pleased, the prices on ebay for daleks are very high. Going to create a bear market on the old sets, but I guess they never said the models were limited edition. Sorry for you if you have a position in the old sets.
Old sets still sealed will hold some price I guess, loose figures will tank.

June 16th, 2020 - 9:49pmI’m looking forward to this set the most. I would normally say a Doctor & TARDIS set would be my most anticipated, but a pack with two classic Daleks, especially Dead Planet original Daleks which I don’t have any of yet (in CO 5″ size) and two suitable for army building, makes this set a definite No.1 for me this time around. Especially after seeing these new pictures of them together in their box! 🙂
I’m also looking forward to the other Dalek pack, 2nd Doc & TARDIS set and Companions Of Fourth Doctor set…only not quite as much.

June 16th, 2020 - 5:00pmNeed to get this as my original dead planet Dalek is broken.
Is the smaller pupil eye piece a new sculpt or has it been used on previous Daleks?

June 16th, 2020 - 7:43pmI think its exactly the same, just the dot is painted smaller ♂️
