Big Finish The 10th Doctor Dalek Universe Volume Three

Available to order from www.bigfinish.com

Three times a Dalek in the Dalek Universe!

Once more into the Dalek Universe for David Tennant, as the stories are today revealed for the third and final volume of Doctor Who – Dalek Universe.

Released in October 2021, this climactic trio of epic full-cast audio dramas takes the Tenth Doctor (David Tennant) and Anya Kingdom (Jane Slavin) further into adventure and intrigue, as they encounter old friends and enemies including Dr River Song (Alex Kingston) and Davros (Terry Molloy) – neither of whom are quite as the Doctor remembers them…

Doctor Who: Dalek Universe 3 is available to pre-order as a collector’s edition CD at £24.99 or on download at £19.99, exclusively at www.bigfinish.com.

Lost in a universe before the Time War, the Doctor is still struggling to find a way back home… but has only found himself in the middle of another war. A very familiar war, involving his oldest enemies – and their malevolent creator.

However he’s not alone – as there are old friends here too. At least he thinks they’re old friends… but when the stakes are as high as this, can he really be sure who to trust? What side are they truly on?

The First Son by Lizzie Hopley

The Doctor’s attempts to return home have led him to the middle of a war zone… and a familiar voice.

The travellers have arrived on a planet made up of crashed space-ships where they encounter River Song… Or do they? Because she’s dressed as a Movellan and claims to be a member of that robot race. Is she undercover, a duplicate, or something more sinister?

And more importantly… who is her son?

The Dalek Defence by Matt Fitton

The Doctor and Anya are trapped between battling Dalek and Movellan forces and only the intervention of Earth can get them out of trouble.

But the humans have troubles too – and a very familiar prisoner. Davros.

Stuck in a universe before the Time War, the Doctor is bound by the rules of his own past… Can he keep everyone alive without changing history? And would he even want to?

The Triumph of Davros by Matt Fitton

Returning to a familiar planet, with Movellan and Dalek warships floating in the sky above, the stakes for the time-travellers are higher than ever.

The mistakes of the Doctor’s past are coming back to haunt him. Alliances are made and broken. And the course of the war is about to turn.

The Doctor can’t stop what’s coming. But maybe, just maybe… he may be able to save his friends.

Joining the previously announced Noma Dumezweni and Joseph Millson in this box set are Ajjaz Awad as security personnel Jeska, Matthew Jacobs-Morgan as human/Morvellan hybrid Kamen Ves, Paul Panting as chief medic Karl Lamb and Nicholas Briggs as the Daleks.

Producer David Richardson said: “It’s the big finale! Daleks, Davros, Movellans, River Song… and some Earth-shattering revelations that might just whip the rug from beneath your feet. The journey through the Dalek Universe leads to this point, and it’s the deadliest of destinations…”

Doctor Who fans worldwide can also now order all three volumes of Dalek Universe, which are available in three formats – collector’s edition CD, digital download or limited edition gatefold triple LP vinyl – exclusively from the Big Finish website (www.bigfinish.com), from just £19.99.

Each of the three volumes in Dalek Universe are released as a four-disc collector’s edition box set or download containing three brand-new full cast audio adventures, plus a selection of behind-the-scenes extras.

Big Finish listeners can save by pre-ordering a bundle of the entire series for just £66 (as a collector’s edition box set) or £58 (as a download).

The Dalek Universe triple LP vinyls are strictly limited to a pressing of 1,000 per volume, and can be pre-ordered at £35.99 each, or £99 for the bundle of all three albums, again exclusively at the Big Finish website (www.bigfinish.com).

Please note: the vinyl editions do not include any behind-the-scenes extras. However, listeners purchasing vinyl LP editions will receive a download of the story automatically and be given access to the CD edits as a bonus download. Episodes will be edited specifically for the vinyl format, presented as two parts, one on each side, each with opening and closing music. In addition, all pre-orders of the vinyls will also receive the behind the extras as a bonus download.

Big Finish is currently operating a digital-first release schedule. The mail-out of collector’s edition CDs may be delayed due to factors beyond our control, but all purchases of this release unlock a digital copy that can be immediately downloaded or played on the Big Finish app from the release date.

they don’t generally do codes, and its £36 for 3 Vinyls on this, about the going rate so I’m not sure what your issue is and its certainly not crazy

The first two boxsets were some of the best Doctor Who content out there. Can’t wait for the final set!

Molloy’s Davros is the best one to me as he was the one I grew up with in the 80’s.
His ability to be calm and quiet one minute and then go into a full on rage the next always made me smile and was quite scary.

This looks cool but someone’s gonna have to tell me where this fits in relation to all the other River releases and where this is set for ten? After TLV?

We don’t know yet without hearing anything.

Wild guess after The Next Doctor, before Planet of the Dead.

There’s some big Dr Who names on this recording. David Tenant, Terry Molloy and Alex Kingston especially. (Should be good).
