Always loved these VHS covers, just awesome, and so much more inventive and interesting than what we have now

The VHS covers were hit and miss at times but the artwork was better than the lazy photo montage versions towards the end of the VHS range.
Not as bad as the “Lets just pick the worst photo from that story and slap it on the cover” early DVD versions (Remembrance of the Daleks I’m looking at you)

I’ve always wondered why that photo was picked for remembrance, even on robots of death they made more of an effort with the photo choice.

You’re right, the covers can be a bit hit and miss.
Can’t remember Toms eyes ever being that bad.
