Stocks Arrive – B&M 2022 September Sets and Map

Please note B&M now sell selected items via their website

You can now try to check for stock (Figures sets only so far) at your local branch on the app and the B&M Website however this is already proving to be very unreliable. The app shows different information to the website and some stores showing stock don’t have it on the shelves

Missed Something? You can see every Collectors Series Set in our Interactive List.

Stocks have now arrived and are appearing in some stores.

At present option 3 on published store telephone numbers that allowed you to speak to a member of staff has been removed. You could try the main customer service number, 0330 838 9000 and ask to be put through to your local store or try and find out its direct number.

Shown below are the product codes and bar codes for reference.

We strongly advise you make whatever checks you can yourself to check store availability before traveling.

To find your nearest store visit www.bmstores.co.uk or use the map below. Please contact www.bmstores.co.uk if you require more information.

The B&M Map:

This map is a guide only and shouldn’t be used as a definite indication that a particular store has stock

The map shows most stores, if you see any missing please leave a comment. We use this map to show the distribution pattern and possible stock locations.

If you see stock and take a picture you can send it to [email protected] and we can add it to the map or you can link to an image you are hosting yourself.

We will list what sets have been seen in any particular store and on what date. This map has layers, if you click on the icon in the blue header at the top left of the map in you can select which layers you want to see.

A Character will be placed to the right of the store concerned (which does not mean that store has that particular item) but you will need to zoom in to separate the 2 or click off the store location layer.

One x 9th and 10th Dalek Sets left in Inverness Milton Of Inshes Store. Plenty of 6th and 10th Doctor Sets. Didn’t need to go to other Store across town, presume they will have more in stock as bigger store.

Are the three figure packs selling. The store I’ve been checking to get the Dalek sets had plenty. Doesn’t look like many have sold. Others have said they’ve seen lots in stores .

Can I just say a big thanks to Booboo on behalf of myself and Mrs Croot. Every time this comes around life is made so much easier by the selfless devotion of Booboo spending hours updating the maps to help us all for no gain for himself. Other than a warm feeling a of a job well done! Many thanks to you, Booboo.

And also, thanks to all those foot warriors out there who feed back the intel from the ground of where the figures have arrived. Obviously, scalpers harvest this data for their own dubious ends. But, the important thing is that many genuine collectors (including parents looking figures for children) also benefit from this information.

It is heartwarming to see fandom coming together for the greater good.

I believe that this site, forums and social media for the most part helps not hinders genuine collectors to locate stock.

Having done this for a while now, years infact, its obvious the “bulk buyers” for their eBay and other business don’t need us or anyone else to help them find stock.

There are some maybe who buy a set and another for ebay to make some cash but again these people would be out and about anyway.

If we and every other platform stopped doing this i guarantee probably just as many would still end up on ebay and elsewhere but the genuine collectors, many with little time on their hands would have no idea where to start looking.

      Absolutely!

This site is so valuable and in particular sharing the great B&M hunt every time as well as allowing us to share collections is fantastic.

The scalpers will always scalp – just part of what eBay is now.

Thanks so much – all your work is hugely appreciated!

Got to say in fairness to the staff of B&M stores, all the ones I tried were as helpful as they could be within the scope of their company policies. Despite many attempts I couldn’t get any of them to reserve stock for me because they all said they are not allowed to do that anymore.
    Here’s a tip ;
I asked for the manager one day just to see if he could give me any idea whether they would be getting any of items in. He saw the barcode from this site and scanned it with his device, and it brought up some information.
He told me that this store has been charged for these items a few days ago, so they should be in within the next few days… Surely enough the following day they were on the shelf.

So if you want to know whether a particular store near you will be getting stocks that might be worth a try – politely of course! Manners cost nothing 🙂

This Saturday I was able to pick up the Planet set from B&M’s Tollgate, Colchester branch. In a greatly appreciated anti hoarding move it was necessary to ask the staff as the 12 sets they had were not on the shelves. My sincere thanks to the staff members who helped me.

I’ve just done the same. I managed to get both Dalek sets on auction at just under £30 each. Obviously that’s more than getting them from the store, but it is starting to look like a lot of areas aren’t going to get them at all, and factoring in the time and fuel costs of regular trips to B&M, it will probably work out about the same if not cheaper in the long run. It’s a sad state when a nation-wide company can’t organise an even distribution across the country. Usually if a product is released, there is a release date and all the stores get a percentage of the product. B&M give a rough release month (that’s usually wrong) and the release in dribs and drabs, here and there with no organisation. Oh well.

    • Dalekz

      October 10th, 2022 - 4:32pm

I agree the cost of getting to the stores takes time and fuel so I thought the same and I also have only paid a little more than in store but I know I have them.
No stores where I live have had any stock it’s not even people buying them all up they just haven’t had any so you make a good point about the poor disribution.

    • booboo

      October 10th, 2022 - 4:35pm

first time (so far) we haven’t been able to get them either, seeing lot more comments around about people “giving up” this time.

    • Count Davros

      October 10th, 2022 - 6:10pm

This wave does seem particularly badly done. I hate having to use eBay scalpers (I’ve only had to resort to it once before) My only comfort is that by the time the seller has paid the postage costs (the sets were listed with free P&P) and eBay fees, they will come away with literally pennies.

    • Bundy

      October 10th, 2022 - 7:38pm

I like to think in those cases they are not scalpers but people helping out those with no B&M near them and consequently no chance of getting them by any other means. A scalper is not in it for pennies.

    • Count Davros

      October 10th, 2022 - 10:46pm

Maybe they were ‘helping people out’ as you put it, but the seller in question had 6 of each Dalek set. People like this could help out more by not clearing the shelves and leaving some sets for collectors to buy from the stores.

    • Dave

      October 11th, 2022 - 7:46am

agree 100% people helping others by buying bulk are just as bad as scalpers, maybe pick up your own +1 for a friend but anymore is a tad selfish

I’ve noticed that too, it looks like they’re just put out anywhere there’s space and it doesn’t take long for them to sell. Sounds like I’ve narrowly missed out on daleks several times but when in store there’s no sign of where they might have been.

Update from north of the border!

Both Dalek sets and the Tenth Doctor sets were in the Fort Kinnaird branch as of this afternoon. I got the second last ‘Death’ set and there were a few ‘Planet’ sets left. No Eighth Doctor sets that I could see but the Tenth Doctor sets looked untouched! I didn’t bother with one.
