“I was working on a documentary about my years in Doctor Who and ended up watching the show with my old companions, Bonnie Langford (who played Mel Bush) and Sophie Aldred (who played Ace). The three of us watched it for four-five hours and commented on it the entire time. It was like watching my own son.”

Sounds like behind the sofa to me. If bonnie and Sophie were both there it’s probably for season 24

Chris chapman has said on twitter he’s delivered some documentaries (didn’t say how many seasons or how many documentaries though)

Richard bignell has finally got into the bbc written archive for the first time this year. Spent 5 days and did over 4700 scans

More good news. It seems a collection boxset release is hopeful, fingers crossed, only a few months away

Lee Binding on his insta stories just shared info that he send to print two Doctor Who Collection covers. Should we get something new on Christmas?

I doubt it, not this close to christmas maybe late January. But it may mean that the next two releases may only be a month or two apart, rather that 3 or more.

Maybe something up for pre order before Christmas but won’t be out till next year. Could be a bit less of a gap between releases but I’d imagine that would be a lot of work

Can’t wait for more releases but hope they are still spaced out. Don’t think my bank account can take two at once

Lee has said 1 is being done early for “reasons”. When shown a pic of Louise Jameson holding season 14 box set from the trailer as a response lee responded with a gif saying we got a winner so it’s probably for filming rather than them getting things out quicker

I know the animations are a separate venture from these immaculate season box sets (I’m sure there’s a small communication between then at least) but to complete the third season they will need a long time say by mid twenties earliest to get all the sixties stuff

I mean they are constantly doing features and I think they should be focusing on archiving new features for the sixties crew whilst they are fortunately still woth us so they can use this later for the release,

If they were to change their minds and do a wilderness set and to maybe start on RTD era before the classics are done, this would give them time to complete the collection, no?

    Thoughts?

Could the whole season eight thing be because this is going to be the eighth collection and the draft listings have just entered as season eight??
