So why isn’t it on the Doctor Who Site yet? It looks like a great issue, celebrating the legendary Patrick Troughton. The best Doctor to grace our screens.

October 14th, 2016 - 5:37pmI for one am very happy to see Captain Jack on the front page. Torchwood is a brilliant show, and I for one can’t wait to see it back, so they need to bring it back! Gwen was a bloody brilliant character, if not a series then we need a permenant ending for it! It’s the cover for a reason… it’s been 10 years since torchwood began!

With the exception of Children of The Earth it was a truly terrible show and doesn’t warrant bringing back.John needs move on and find a new role.

October 14th, 2016 - 11:20pmThe problem with having a cover related to the Power of the Daleks is it would have to be an cartoon image dalek on the cover, which wouldn’t really sell copies to adults or make it that eye-catching
The problem with having Class on the cover is, its a new property so nobody really knows yet how well having them on the cover will make it sell
The reason they went with John on the cover is because he’s very recognisable to us whovians, he plays a beloved character in dr who, so having him on the front will help sell issues

October 17th, 2016 - 8:48amTotally disagree with the comments from Josh B. To say a cartoon image prevents people from buying a mag is ridiculous, DWM have used art / cartoon covers before. The Doctor is in the first episode of Class so it makes even more sense to have it on the front cover. It makes no sense at all to have a dead spin off show on the front cover just because its main lead cant let it go. Captain Jack is not beloved by all, many fans cant stand him. DWM have made a stupid choice.

October 13th, 2016 - 10:24pmHoly crap, it’s the Risen Mitten (resurrection glove) from the first season. If I remember right, they never found the second one. I know there was two resurrections but I can’t remember if it was with the same glove both times. Should probably go back and marathon it all from the start.

October 14th, 2016 - 12:28amThey destroyed the first one ( Tosh shot it) in They Keep Killing Suzie S1 Ep8 to save Gwen and kill Suzie and then Jack found the second one in a church full of weevils to bring Owen back to life in Dead Man Walking S2 Ep7 after he was shot in Reset S2 Ep6.

So unless there are more (there are those who say it’s the same as Rassilon’s glove by there is not “in-universe” proof of this) then all the Ressurection Gaunlets have been destroyed

October 13th, 2016 - 7:54pmLet’s not forget that Big Finish have done 2 series of Torchwood now and it is brilliant. Given a choice of more Torchwood Miracle Day style television or Broken/Made You Look style audio, the latter is far superior and I would far rather have the audio.
