Doctor Who Adventures issue 259

Doctor Who Adventures issue 259

Don’t tell anyone -but I’m being watched.

Cameras seem to be following me everywhere I go.

And it’s always when my life takes a turn for the dramatic, like when I’m saving the universe from a fate worse than broccoli.

It’s never when I’m having toast and a boiled egg for breakfast.

I wonder what they’re up to?

Also inside…

*Big bag in space
*Alien adventure
*Rory fast facts
*Malthill way (comic)
*who’s that
*Military mission and much more

This weeks issue comes with a grow your own Cyberman and monster invasion cards

Doctor Who Adventures is really beginning to bug me now! Doctor Who isn’t on till Autumn so the issues are getting WORSE AND WORSE AND WORSE. Why dont they just but it on every two weeks instead so it doesn’t get BORING and PREDICTABLE! I mean, how are they planning to supply enough features from January 2012 – Autumn 2012 when Series 7 comes on! That’s just my opinion folks…

you dont like Monster invasion either for the comment you tried to leave

Personally for the age group its aimed at DWA is fine and personally i think its been pretty good recently

I must agree with booboo. DWA may not be my favourite magazine, but they are bringing the classics slowly slowly. That’s the Regeneration page, and I got many good facts from The First and Second Doctor.

Then, we have Matt Smith’s opinions on each episode of Series 6, which You only really get in DWA.

Personally, there doing pretty well just now.

      March 10th, 2012 - 7:10pm

The only things I don’t like is when they write “Only In Doctor Who Adventures” for interviews etc when it’s mostly material taken from other sources. However, I have been enjoying the behind the scenes Christmas stuff since there was no Confidential to follow on from that. And AAGH! AAGH! annoys me!
However, I do like the classic facts, the comics, the posters, seeing what others thought of episodes, the upload page and, as previously mentioned, the behind the scenes stuff.

Bow tie of Doom, I quite like AAGH! AAGH!, even though it’s not a comic strip with the TARDIS crew. Although sometimes there are some silly bits in them that annoy me!

The poster for The God Complex looks good and hopefully the same can be said for Closing Time and The Wedding of River Song. The Series 6 posters have been great so far! Also do you think there will be a poster for The Doctor, The Widow and The Wardrobe? There probably won’t be as there were some before and after the episode aired. Still, you never know. she regenerates because if she didnt she wont be able to come back, she wont be in the game any longer and you wont be able to complete it, so it makes sense

river regenerates as she is the child of the tardis and concived in the tardis so the time lord/ time energy is part of her

    • The 507th Doctor (Previously King of the Tenza)

      March 7th, 2012 - 1:24pm

Yes but when somebody dies in a game you can restart the level.

And about the River thing, the game was made by Summer 2010, and they hadn’t begun writing new episodes for Series 6. So Moffat didn’t actually think of writing that yet. I guess they just did it though.

Doctor Who Adventures is really for 8 year olds, but I still collect it and I’m 11. I used to love it, but I’m not that interested in it anymore. It’s still good though and I do get it when I can’t get Monster Invasion magazine or cards.
