6th Doctor Annual

Time Lord Tuesdays enters a parallel dimension where Doctor Who’s Annual of 1986 looked a little different!

I like the idea but the ‘cut and paste’ artwork style doesn’t work for me. Not sure about Colin’s skeletal hand in the lower picture either.

Why go to the trouble of pastiching and aging, only to do something as sloppy as the new series Davros and TARDIS signage? The Devil’s in the detail.

Yeah… its not like the cyberman troughton annual (my favourite annual cover tbh) has blatant inaccuracies. Aha.

Im not criticising it aha, i love it when it comes to retro style illustrations. Retro style lends it self to inaccurate depictions, as that is what most old retro style drawings tended to do. However, When its a photoshop of tom baker with tennants tardis though, that irritates me… especially when its the same boring image of the tardis every time.

Is the aging faked I wonder, or is it a Photo taken of an Actual old Manual?

This annual doesn’t exist, and has Davros from the Nu-Who era, so it’s definitely not a copy of that annual art. The style is based on the last Six annual.
