Doctor Who 5.5″ 8th Doctor Action Figure

The Eighth Doctor was an effortlessly charming, romantic figure. He was unguarded about his background and equally candid about what the future held for people he came into contact with.

It seems ironic that so much about this open Doctor remains a closed book…His first adventure took place in San Francisco at the turn of the Millennium with Dr Grace Holloway and Chang Lee in an epic battle with the Master.
Much later, after many adventures with many companions, the 8th Doctors fate is finally sealed during the Time War, as he attempts to rescue a pilot, Cass, whose ship was crashing into the planet Karn.
When Cass realized that the Doctor was a Time Lord and her enemy, she refused his help and allowed the ship crash.

November 22nd, 2015 - 10:30amI’ve found when looking at all the listings of the 5.5″ collector series, it says it’s in stock for delivery, then open the listing to find it says it’s unavailable and has that tab to request notification when it is in stock

They were supposed to be in stock in Stockport yesterday, so I went there but they hadn’t arrived (some problem to do with delivery).
Got a text alert at 8 this morning to say they were in stock so I reserved one.
Then got an email at 11 to say my order was cancelled and they don’t know when they’ll be in!!
Have they actually made them???

November 21st, 2015 - 5:07pmI had a similar situation at Poole TRU. Said they had them in stock and clicked and went to collect. Only to be told the system said they had 6 but they could find no trace of them.
Left a LITTLE disappointed.

November 21st, 2015 - 11:23pmThe whole thing has been a shambles, most of the toys r us stores don’t stock the 5 inch figures. I don’t know why they are advertising them when most stores don’t have them. Plus the problems with internet ordering.

Have toy shops just lost faith in this company? I got the alert from TRU this morning saying in stock but can you find one – no. Why does this have to such a pain every time. It takes the fun out it.

Ordered the flight control tardis and Amy Pond on their website as free delivery so saves me another wasted trip! Also pre ordered 8th Dr on FB ages ago so hopefully this will still come!
