Doctor Who 5.5″ 8th Doctor Action Figure

“I love humans. Always seeing patterns in things that aren’t there.”

The Eighth Doctor was an effortlessly charming, romantic figure. He was unguarded about his background and equally candid about what the future held for people he came into contact with.

8th-doctor-3750

Includes..

  • Sonic Screwdriver Accessory
  • Karn Chalice Accessory (Cup O’ Karn)
  • Cass’s Bandolier Accessory (removable)

It seems ironic that so much about this open Doctor remains a closed book…His first adventure took place in San Francisco at the turn of the Millennium with Dr Grace Holloway and Chang Lee in an epic battle with the Master.

8th-doctor-box7501

Much later, after many adventures with many companions, the 8th Doctors fate is finally sealed during the Time War, as he attempts to rescue a pilot, Cass, whose ship was crashing into the planet Karn.

When Cass realized that the Doctor was a Time Lord and her enemy, she refused his help and allowed the ship crash.

Would have been interesting if they’d released this figure as a 2 pack with the War Doctor figure, and also have a swappable head of a younger version of the War Doctor to put on this 8th Doctor figures body.

Is it just me or is every 2 weeks their announcing/ releasing pictures of new 5inch figures? Never the less I hope we continue this pattern and get:

Cyberman (2013-present) and includes swappable cyber danny head, emotion in hibiter (One open and one closed) and attachable arm gun

    Ice-Warrior (From Cold War)

    Zygon (DOTD, TZI and TZI)

    Skovox Blitzer

Davros (TWF and TMA) (Revised paint job and maybe an open eye head)

The 12th Doctor New variants including:
    White shirt (With waistcoat)
TMA with Sonic shades and Guitar
    UTL, BTF and LC
And him in his red velvet coat

Then a new Clara from flatline.

That is my main wish list. What does everyone else want to see? (I was mean’t to send my comment here not ask a question)

This seems good to me, but I don’t think we will be getting any more 12th doctors any time soon. However, I would like to see figures of:
      Osgood,
      Kate L-S,
      Danny,
      The Teller,
      Colony Sarff

      Also, but unlikely:
      Simeon (the great intelligence),
      Whisper-man,
      Vastra,
      Strax,
      Jenny

And of coarse, there’s lots more we’d all like made. But this 8th Doctor is amazing!

    • Cyberlord

      October 10th, 2015 - 3:17pm

Oh, and also, if he is cool, the Fisher King.

    • TheExtremeBlueTARDIS

      October 10th, 2015 - 3:38pm

I think the most likely figures to be released in 5″, if it continues like this, are:

Davros (Repaint, with an open eyes head)
      Cyberman (2013-)
      Zygon (DOTD)
      Ice Warrior (Cold War)
      Red Supreme Dalek

      What I would also like:

      The Foretold
      Whisperman
Clara (Not a repaint, perhaps from ‘The Magician’s Apprentice’)
      Colony Sarf
      Ghost (Particularly the Tivolian one)
      The Teller
      Half-Faced Man

I agree with these! We need a cyberman (2013-), Zygon, Ice Warrior etc. Zygomatic are back soon, perfect chance to bring one out!

    • davrosdestroyer

      October 10th, 2015 - 7:55pm

      maybe they can release:

deep breath set including: half face man12th doctor in robot disguise with swapable head.
tma/twf set including: davros and doctor swapable body and colony sarff.
      new cyberman
      zygon
      ice warrior
      ghost (tivoli)
      fisher king
      rigsy
      rusty
      and clara (tma/twf)

    • davrosdestroyer

      October 10th, 2015 - 9:35pm

      also…

      ghost doctor
dih set including: 12th doctor (white shirt, black cardigan with the invasion cyberman head) cyberman swapable head (danny cyberman) with removable chestplate and clara
dotd set includes: clara (dotd),bad wolf (rose) and zygon.

these are all great wish lists but lets face fact – we are not going to be getting much. we will most likely only get
-straight up rereleases such as the red supreme dalek
-slightly tweaked or repainted figures such as series 4 davros with eyes painted on
-brand new figures for significant/ iconic characters only
unfortunately characters like the foretold, the wispermen and the fisher king will most likely never happen

    • Davrosdestroyer

      October 16th, 2015 - 4:38pm

I know but imagine getting releases of these and:

      robot thing (gwd)
12th doctor space suit (though you could take the 10th doctor spacesuit head off).
      osgood (dih).
      rusty
      and kate.
