Torchwood: Mr Invincible Audio CD

Torchwood: Mr Invincible Audio CD
By Mark Morris

Tom Price reads this exclusive audio adventure set after the conclusion of “Miracle Day”, featuring Captain Jack Harkness and Sgt Andy Davidson. Ross Chapman is one of life’s losers.

So when he survives a point-blank shooting, dons a superhero costume and becomes a crime-busting vigilante, something strange is clearly going on. And Ross’ transformation isn’t the only odd thing happening in Cardiff. Time is distorting – around the city, some people are aging, dying and decomposing in a matter of minutes, while others are reverting to childhood. Sgt Andy Davidson knows he’s out of his depth – so when Jack Harkness sweeps into the police station, he’s glad of the help that only Torchwood can provide.

But for Jack, the stakes are higher than ever. He’s seen a vision of Gwen, dead, murdered by an unknown gunman. And if he can’t solve the mystery of Mr Invincible, he can’t save her…

Written specially for AudioGO by Mark Morris, “Mr Invincible” is read by Tom Price, who played Sgt Andy Davidson in the hit BBC television series. ”

Due for release on 7th June 2012.

They need to bring torchwood back for series 5 but this time make it les confusing, actauly have aliens, stop kiling team members unles they cn come back, set it more in wales. Maybe back in time again or in space. And they could do the sarah jane again. Maybe cal it the banerman road gang and set it a few years later for the gang when they are older. They cnt kil sarah jane but they could say she movd to liv with jo as she needed to relax. ? Anyone else thnk how they could do more.

I thought Children of earth was brilliant but couldn’t get on with miracle day at all, so yes bring it back as it was for me. I dont think we will see anything more to do with SJA to be honest

Series 1 of Torchwood, despite it’s attempts to throw in adult themes all over the place, was brilliant. There were some amazing episodes such as Everything Changes, Ghost Machine, Countrycide, They Keep Killing Suzie, Out of Time, Combat (Yes, I liked it) and although the finale was slighlty overblown, it was still wonderful. Series 2 was, again, brilliant with episodes such as Sleeper, Dead Man Walking, Adrift, Fragments and Exit Wounds being top of my list of favourites.

Series 3 (Children of Earth) was incredible! The acting was superb and it was a truly wonderful piece of television. Series 4 (Miracle Day) was a huge step down in quality and I just did not enjoy it. There are a lot of reasons why I didn’t like Miracle Day, but I won’t go through those. I hope we get a fifth series, but if it’s like Miracle Day, then chances are I won’t enjoy it. 🙂

I loved Miracle Day. It had to be set mainly in America. Starz is paying for it, plus Davies wanted to sell it to an American network. BBC didn’t pay for anything other than the few scenes from each episode that were bbc’s (in the case of episode 3 that was most of an episode). That’s if they paid for that.

I totally agree with you touchwood is British and should stay in Britain and I’m going to switch off if they do bring it back not in the uk and therye meant to be fighting aliens not people so torch wood bring back the aliens and do what we, the fans who actually watch the show want.
      Who agrees with me.
      What do u think BooBoo

Aimed at totally different audience, Torchwood has more adult themes which you are never going to get in The Sarah Jane Adventures – Its Children’s TV

I would be scared to see a 15 in SJA, even though it has ended.

the mad woman in the attic was adult, but it had to feature kids otherwise it wouldn’t have worked.
