Robert Harrop Designs have been creating collectable hand painted figurines for over 30 years and have gained a well earned reputation of high quality and accuracy of detail.

    the hands were actually painted a very light icey bluish grey to represent the coldness (more blue than grey).. plus the face was a light jersey grey material , same used on the body underneath the clear boiler type suit, plus the head peace part was not green… it was clear plastic. I wish they would do proper research in future figures.

      Not sure if true but apparently some of them wore gloves. But I think we all wanted human hands

      On the day of shooting the tenth planet the designer forgot about the hands so at the last minute they painted there hands grey

      Why would they paint their hands grey, in a black and white show?

      They would paint there hands grey so they came out gray instead of white

      It would match the continuity of the whole costume palette. If u ever go back and watch the Munsters, why did they bother painting him green if it was a black and white show? Why bother putting actors in colorful clothing if it’s a black and white show? The costumer has a vision or the producer and they will try and make that vision come true
