One little gripe is that the shadows on the A Town Called Mercy in my opinion are a bit too dark.

Hey Esterath! I was thinking, have you considered just drawing the sets, you know, the areas? Because, to me, you so fantastic… scenery work! I mean most of your work is good, but I’d say the background parts are best. like I said, I like most of your work either way, but I just came up with it and thought I’d suggest it, artist to artist!

i was wondering, with your comic, how did you do this, have you planned out the story, and what each person says and when? or are you just making up what they say as you draw it?
as i have started drawing, i havent done it for ages, and this made me want to do a comic, so i have a story (but i dont know if the end makes sense so im not sure about it) but dont know how to go about making it?!
so any help with how to think of an ending, or just draw it would be great

I draw everything first lightly, then do the speech bubbles and then once I’m happy, once there is no mistakes I go over it. Yes, I make it up as I go along but again I have to check it. Hoep this helps!

I think they are really good considering you drew them freehand, but I think Amys face on the DOAS and Rory in TPOT arent as good as the other faces. But I still love your pictures, when is the comic and TATM up? I’m sure they’re going to be great!

Yeah, I didn’t like Amy’s face in the DOAS picture. Rory’s face was hard to do, but you still know it’s Rory.

Synopsis for The Criminal Dispachment:
When the TARDIS crash-lands on the Criminal Dispachment, a planetiod prison built for criminals, the Doctor senses something is wrong. His worst fears are realised when Rory and Amy are kidnapped by an insane criminal! Can the Doctor gain the trust of the impeccable Controller and uncover the secret of the Talerian before Rory and Amy are sold as slaves to the most ruthless businessman in the seven galaxies?

I’m always curious how people draw these… For example, in the Dalek one, I’m guessing you drew the Doctor, carrying Amy first, right?

I’m glad someone asked me that! I’ll tell you pic by pic.
AOTD: I drew the Doctor and Amy first then all the Daleks then the Asylum background.
DOAS: I drew the Doctor, Rory then Amy then the Pteranodons then the backgrounds.
ATCM: I drew the Doctor, Amy then Rory, then the town of Mercy.
TPOT: I drew the Doctor, Rory and Amy then I drew the Shakri console.
After all of them were done I drew the title cars, the names and the logos! Hope this hepls!

Thanks! I’ve been trying to do the Doctor from TPOT, but his hand and his face can be hard! Luckily, my latest one his hand was good, so was his body, so I thought I did it! Until I noticed his body was too fat and it wasn’t gonna work.

Karen was hard to draw. Matt has one of those easy faces you’ll instantly recognise in a drawing. And Arthur, just draw a big nose and that’s that! Haha!

I just tried to draw the Doctor from The Power of Three poster!
But then I drew the face and it all went wrong… 
I was quite pleased with his body, I was getting excited!
