Theres a horse at this years Aintree grand national called ‘The Young master’. Not encouraging anyone to gamble. He,s a rank outsider.

If you look at the image on the website, there are 2 more vinyls: Craig and 12. this set is still seriously lacking though.

      March 30th, 2018 - 7:45am

Titans recently said those 2 were not part of the set so not sure what’s gong on,we will need to check on that

      April 22nd, 2018 - 7:16pm

Now it appears they’ve changed the image back to the original one without 12 and Craig. Is this seriously the entire set? I am rather disappointed.

    March 29th, 2018 - 11:51pm

Are we not missing 2 figures? Even with the added Craig & 12th. Dr Thin Ice that’s only TEN not TWELVE figures like the previous set?

    March 29th, 2018 - 6:02pm

This seems a bit of a pointless wave/series.

  • The Legend Doctor

    March 22nd, 2018 - 4:27pm

2 more revealed! New Craig Owens varient and 12 in Thin Ice Water Costume

      Nevermind they were mistakes

    • booboo

      March 22nd, 2018 - 5:11pm

those were sent to previews world before the wave was finalised, we assume there are 2-4 un-revealed figures yet

Great to finally get a Roger Delgado figure but the rest of this collection is a right old mess..who makes these decisions?!..obviously not proper Doctor Who fans, just money men.

    • The Werewolf

      March 22nd, 2018 - 3:49pm

The classic series inn’t very pop in the USA if that’s what you mean. These are more aimed at general geeks really rather than Doctor Who fans.

    • The Werewolf

      March 22nd, 2018 - 3:52pm

At least I think so anyway

It’s already been said by Titan that the only way Classic Who will appear (Is as they have done here) by adding one or two figures to a set. Hence the Delgado Master/B&W Tardis.

Do you know what would really complete this set nicely.

    A Lazlo figure!

It was a minisode included on the series 6 dvd boxset, featuring two versions of 11 from different points in his timeline and river song on the series 5-7a tardis set. You can probably find it on youtube id imagine

The only one I will be getting off E-bay will be The Master. Who on earth wants Lazarus? The artwork doesn’t even resemble Gatiss. It’s as if they’ve run out of ideas but they’re ignoring almost all 26 years of Classic Who which is full of interesting monsters, robots and characters. Classic Who is not a seller but this is?

    • booboo

      March 16th, 2018 - 3:38pm

Sadly Classic Who in any range is not a good seller in the USA where by far the biggest market for these is

  • The 13th Doctor

    March 16th, 2018 - 11:58am

Jackie Tyler, Novice Hame and Brannigan need to be included.

  • LastOfTheSonics

    March 16th, 2018 - 7:03am

Great to see a new set… But for a “Master Collection” I’d expect more than one master.

Is it really just these 8 main vinyls plus rares or are there other commons to be announced as well?

    • booboo

      March 16th, 2018 - 7:25am

hopefully we will find out later

these popped up on Ikon but with no image so I’m wondering if they had to put some info out before they were fully ready.

    • LastOfTheSonics

      March 17th, 2018 - 7:33am

If it’s just these that’s incredibly careless and lazy.

Im only going to get the master and the tardis off of eBay, not getting any full sets this time.

  • Anonymous

    March 16th, 2018 - 6:12am

Wilf- from end of time with the master,
    Lazarus- the laser screwdriver tech
    Master- is the master
And at a very weak connection
The tardis- either he steals the doctors or had one

    • Anonymous

      March 16th, 2018 - 6:14am

Before anyone comments I have seen all doctor who and don’t need informing of little facts like the master had a tardis through out all of it. The Collum thing and the computer matching and the clock. I’m not being rude but it’s a bit annoying when people underestimate your knowledge

    • LastOfTheSonics

      March 17th, 2018 - 7:35am

I understand what you mean to be honest

  • The Flying Shark

    March 15th, 2018 - 10:17pm

Couldn’t they at least have done Ainley and Jacobi?

  • Anonymous

    March 15th, 2018 - 8:53pm

Roger Delgado isn’t the first Master!

    • Anonymous

      March 16th, 2018 - 1:08am

      … Televised he is.

    • Anonymous

      March 16th, 2018 - 8:45am

Sure he is. That *incarnation* may or may not have been the first one (we don’t actually know, if you look at it), but Roger Delgado *the actor* was absolutely the first Master.

    • Anonymous

      March 18th, 2018 - 9:17pm

technically he is, and it makes a nice bit of merch considering the gem of a man would’ve been 100 a few weeks ago if he hadn’t tragically lost his life in that car crash and lived a natural life… he is THE Master, and we shall obey him.

  • Anonymous

    March 15th, 2018 - 8:48pm

    Why does this exist?

  • Alan

    March 15th, 2018 - 7:45pm

Lazurus is played by Mark Gatiss who under the guise of Sam Kisgartt is The Master in the Big Finish audios! Can’t help with Van Gogh though!

    March 15th, 2018 - 7:26pm

So no new logo on these due in August? Seems odd thought the Beeb wanted it on everything?

    • Anonymous

      March 16th, 2018 - 2:18am

This is only a promo image that may have been already made up before the announcement, the final boxes may end up having the 2018 logo yet.

Where is the correlation between Vincent Van Gogh and The Master?

    • Anonymous

      March 15th, 2018 - 7:39pm

Where is the correlation between ANY of these figures and the Master – besides the Master. A real random set with a veey misleading collection title and tagline. A better name would have been “All the cool figures we haven’t done yet and Lazarus”

  • Anonymous

    March 15th, 2018 - 7:18pm

Very random set here some very good ones some I think are pointless it’s a master set which btw only two on here are with the master so I don’t get why they need do them they should do a proper master set

    The master figure
Roger Delgado with Tce in this set
Peter Pratt with big eyes and Sash of Rassilon
    Geoffrey Beevers with normal eyes
    Anthony Ainley with Tce
    Gordon Tipple trapped by Daleks
Eric Roberts dressed up in time lord grams
    Derek Jacobi with fob watch
    John Simm with laser screwdriver
    William Hughes
    Michelle Gomez with sonic umbrella

This set is really awful. Titan are really scraping the barrel

  • The Introverted 1.

    March 15th, 2018 - 7:03pm

Shouldn’t the Tardis have a St john symbol on it?

  • Tom Baker Plush

    March 15th, 2018 - 6:38pm

Very strange choices… not sure who is gonna go out of their way to find a Professor Lazarus ._.

  • WhoviVortex

    March 15th, 2018 - 6:33pm

    ‘The Master Collection’.
*Only two figures are relatively related to the Master*

    • Anonymous

      March 15th, 2018 - 6:35pm

      Which two?

    • Tyler Prescott

      March 15th, 2018 - 6:58pm

The Master (clearly) and Lazarus. Simm’s Master used Lazarus technology for with his Laser Screwdriver.

  • Dave

    March 15th, 2018 - 6:21pm

8 figures? Interesting… I wonder if they are waiting on approval of a couple more?

    • The Outcast

      March 16th, 2018 - 12:11am

Hopefully that is the case. Otherwise, for a Master collection, it’s a bit of shambles. Hopefully the Tremas, Decayed, War and Series 10 Simm Master turn up in this wave.
