      I don’t think they’re in separate cases

It’s all one case containing 12 discs. Marco Polo discs 1-3, Reign of Terror discs 4&5, The Crusade discs 6&7, Galaxy Four discs 8&9, The Myth Makers discs 10&11 and the bonus disc containing the map of Marco Polo, the scripts etc. is disc 12. The case is basically the one covering stories such as The Roundheads or the Engines of War audiobooks where it is plastic with several discs

Really pleased about this as collection one goes for silly money at present. Wonder if they will release all 5 Collections this time round, as Collection 3 now has 4 DVD releases to the 6 stories, only leaving The Smugglers and The Highlanders. I see The Reign of Terror is still on Collection one, even though that also has since had a DVD release.

I’d imagine enemy of the world will be the only thing that won’t be brung over seeing as none of the episodes are longer missing

I HAVE BEEN ASKING FOR A RE-RE-RELEASE. I don’t care if they have a 2018 logo but at least give us a deluxe set with jewel cases, new restoration, and same artwork as the previous re-release!

I love the 2018 logo! And I totally regret not getting these when they first came out, even though I have burnt copies and recons. So I’m thrilled!

So, assuming the design of this rerelase is practically the same as the original realase, is this just a standard box/plastic case with the CD’s, or is it a set of jewel case CD’s or what?

Look at the TARDIS compared to the original releases and then the Classic TV Adventures sets. For clarification the old sets used jewel cases, and the TV Adventures used clamshells. The new Lost TV Episodes looks like the TV Adventures editions will be a clamshell. Which is unfortunate.

Wonder if ‘The Enemy of the World’ will still be included in vol. 5…? I’m assuming they’ll at least change the packaging to include the 2018 logo in place of the 1996 version.

Friend of mine is over the moon, she missed out of some of these so she’s very excited about this release! A lot of them have been “out of print” for a long time now.

It would be good if they released some new soundtracks rather than re-packaging old ones.

The whole point of these is that all of the episodes don’t exist on film, just audio. You want them to release episodes that have been completely covered by VHS, DVDs and audio books as well?

They did a few booboo,. I certainly wouldn,t mind the ones like The Web Planet, The Chase etc from Hartnells Era and Seeds and The war games from Troughtons just to listen to. It would be a completion to this format and the black and white era . I actually prefer these to the audiobooks and like the linking narration.

They did do some. The krotons, the sensorites gunfighters, sea devils.to name but a few.

The pertwee , Baker few and Warriors of the Deep seemed a bit incongruous as they didn,t continue, even though these were only originally intended as release as mentioned, to fill those missing stories with the off air recordings.

Excellent. These went out of print so to speak a few years ago. Look forward to the second set which hopefully will have Fury from the Deep on it.

Are they packaged like the tv episodes collection though?, stacked up, which hated.

The original releases had fury of the deep in collection 4. @the ergon in the original releases each story had its own cd case

Sorry just double checked. Fury was on collection 5

I have the original releases still with the cases, I,m talking about the TV episodes collections. I rebought those in single cases and sold the stacked versions. Just wondering if these are repackaged that same way.

Classic tv Adventures had a clamshell design that stacked all the cds. The TV Episodes Collection 6 had a deluxe jewel case set. I hope this one is a jewel case but 35 pounds I’m not betting on it. This could be a cheap re-release

I,ve never heard of these ‘Jewel case’ releases but i,m glad i bought them first time round. More of a collectors item with the old logo and unique with ‘Enemy’ in collection 5. As someone has remarked they may push that in the TV Episodes collection now.
