What Can Funko Pops! do for Doctor Who?
Love them or hate them Funkos pops are everywhere with numerous licences and with the recent addition of The Hogwarts Express its begs the question what can they do for Doctor Who?
A Pop! version of Bessie, or the Who mobile possibly?

March 20th, 2016 - 12:55amI would love a Bessie with a little third doctor. Not too keen on the who mobile due to it’s main feature being the canopy which wouldn’t be able to be on the pop ride. Also it’s really just a very generic 60’s/70’s space related thing with no real features that define it from similar looking vehicles.

March 19th, 2016 - 12:08amI’d buy Bessie and third doc or seventh for that matter. The only other Vehicle packs I think could work would be TARDIS consoles with each Dr or an open TARDIS with Dr and a visible interior. The later would be cheaper to produce just different inserts. Part of me hopes they don’t do it because I’ll have to buy them all and my house is smaller on the inside.

March 18th, 2016 - 9:48pmI have resisted these as I “just dont get Them” and yet…… There is something annoyingly fun about them and I am so not the target range (if there is one) But K9, hell bought that in heartbeat. Got a Birthday pressie of a Z box with lots of stuff in it, with a Pop funko TARDIS. So now I have two. and I said NO!
Bessie and the WHOMOBILE (has anyone ever made one ?) would be a certainty.

March 18th, 2016 - 8:51pmI really only wanted one version of each Doctor, the TARDIS and K-9. The companions I couldn’t care less about, or the monsters.
However I did already cave and got 2 versions of 11 instead of one and Sarah Jane.
So far I’ve got the TARDIS, #11 Fez/Mop, #12 Regular, #4 Regular, #10 3D Glasses, #11 Handles Version, K-9 and Sarah Jane. Really only want to get Captain Jack and regular #9 (not banana) from wave 2.
Definitely hoping for more Doctor figures in wave 3. Only one Doctor being in this second wave was really annoying. It’ll take another 3 years to get all of the Doctor’s regenerations at this point. Hoping the next wave will see the War Doctor, #8, #1 and #2. Wave 4 can be #3, #5 #6 and #7. I can’t say I’d mind all of the other TARDISes either but they’re hardly screen accurate, so buying a few more and painting them would suffice.
