May 2nd, 2012 - 6:43pmThe emphasis should be biased towards the original programme, after all it did something for 10th, 20th, 25th, 30th and 40th.
The key thing is unreleased DVDs. If more money is needed for restoration, animation etc then increase revenue via box sets with gifts, alternative covers or numbered editions.
Doctor Who DVDs are the backbone to fandom, as VHS’s were before them. I have all six versions
of all series 5 & 6 releases, so x2 each of some 50th anniversary classic releases is not an issue if it generates revenue for higher quality DVDs.

As i dont think the last unreleased story will be out till quite late on in the year so i doubt they will have time to release box sets in 2013. Their priority is to release the unreleased stories not box sets.Seeing as all remaining stories are well into production money isnt an isnt an issue.

Also I don’t think there can ever be Historical figures, but they can make a Queen Liz 10 figure with guns. If they did make historical figures, then they have to have a Van Gogh Figure.

Ambassadors of death (if its not out this year) and mind of evil (in restored colour) terror of the zygons (hopfully with alternative effects(cgi has already been ruled out)) tenth planet (with animation for ep 4 and galaxy 4 ep 3)ice warriors (with animation and underwater menace ep2) Plus the following special edition releases

inferno (picture quality could look a lot better imo). And that would fill up the 2013 schedul

May 1st, 2012 - 1:23pmTHERE ARE ABOUT A DOZEN OR SO DVD TITLES THAT 2 ENTERTAIN HAVEN,T RE-ISSUED YET ON THEIR LABEL,MAYBE THEY COULD REPACKAGE SAY THE ARK IN SPACE AND UPDATE ON THE SPECIAL EFFECTS, OR DIGITALLY REMOVE SAY THE HAND THAT WAS FONDLING SUTEKHS BOTTOM ON A PYRAMIDS REISSUE. GET RID OF SOME OF THE INCONSISTENCIES THAT THE CLASSIC SERIES MADE. THEY COULD DO IT AS AN OPTION AS NOT TO UPSET PURISTS.

i call it the “SUPREME EDITION”.
Then another collection i call dalek origin sets:
a set with 4 drone daleks
a set with 4 2005 daleks
a set with 4 imperial daleks (including special weapons dalek).
a set with 4 renegade daleks
a set with 4 gunmetal daleks (including chief dalek).

April 30th, 2012 - 9:38pmA book that covers all 50 years of doctor who (as there is none) covering every epsidoe with episode guide, guide to the allies, monsters, enemies and technology/gadgets that appeared in each episode along with behind the scenes info.
If that is not possible then have a book for each type above or doctor which covers all the above.
So basically a big encyclopaedia.
A new doctor who partwork (has to happen as the show will be 50 years and is very popular.)

Think on a broader scale guys, Character options can’t be the weight-bearer of who’s 50th, can it?

April 30th, 2012 - 6:55pmi have already said i wanted a box set of 11 episodes and 1 figure sets, but i have changed my mind on the sets. I think the could do a 50th annivercary wave, with 7 figures. A yeti, joe, and some others. Then 3 sets of episodes (one for robot with tom baker, elizabeth sladen, brigadier and the robot or something like that, probably not robot but that is just an example). who thinks that would be good? I am designing my ideas for packaging now!
