Warlord Games River Song (Orders Over £50)

Wife of the Doctor, River Song was conceived aboard the Time Lord’s spacecraft from the Doctor’s companions Rory Williams and Amy Pond as it travelled the Time Vortex. This special edition miniature sees River in her attire during the two-part storyline, The Impossible Astronaut and Day of the Moon.
River’s story is a long and complicated one, even by the standards of Doctor Who. There is a wealth of information on her so rather than explain all here we suggest you explore the various books, video channels and internet to find out more but beware of what you might find – as Dr Song herself would say, “Spoilers!”…

November 9th, 2022 - 10:06amThey are white metal figures and are made to be painted for display, collection or most importantly for the company’s table top gaming. So pewter would be pointless and costly in comparison.
Warlord regularly do a free gift on orders over £50, most of the time they aren’t Doctor Who, in this case it is. It’s standard practise and a reward to loyal customers. Ultimately, you’re paying £50 for the items you choose, not for the free figure.
Don’t know why you’d expect a pewter figure when it’s not their remit at all.

Alan Hunting mentioned this on 21/10 as the only Figure not released – probably from a proposed set including this River Song figure.
