Twice Upon A Time Scope (Charity Book)

Doctor Who alumni and fans from around the world have joined forces to raise funds for Scope, the disability equality charity. is an unofficial and unauthorised Doctor Who charity anthology e-book containing 36 short stories, interspersed with poetry and artwork, which see the Doctor and friends celebrate the festive season throughout time and space. Along the way, cast and crew share festive greetings and memories of working on the show.

Doctor Who alumni who have contributed material to Twice Upon A Time Scope include; actors Charlotte Ritchie, Neve McIntosh, Mark Dexter, Paul Bazely, Debbie Chazen, Maureen Beattie, Danny Horn, Neil McDermott, Paul Clayton, Nicola Bryant and Sophie Aldred; directors Graeme Harper and Farren Blackburn; authors Trevor Baxendale, Jonathan Morris, Eddie Robson and Paul Magrs; and artists Scott Gray, Mike Collins and Colin Howard.

All 78 contributors have given their work freely in order to support Scope at a time when the charity’s income has fallen dramatically owing to the necessity of having to close charity shops and cancel fundraising events during lockdowns and periods of restrictions owing to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. With two thirds of all people who have died as a result of COVID-19 being disabled people and Scope having seen a 79% surge in demand for their family services over 2020, the charity needs support now more than ever.

Twice Upon A Time Scope was published on Christmas Eve 2020 and so far has raised over £500 for Scope. This follows the first volume, Time Scope, published in July 2020, which has gone on to raise over £2 200 for Scope.
