Highly detailed and realistic action figure collection that celebrates 50 years of Doctor Who. Each pack includes a fully poseable 5-inch Doctor and a free-wheeling Dalek from the same era that features moveable eye stalk and gun arm.

The Seventh Doctor with Dalek (Remembrance of the Daleks): Mercurial and highly moral, this Doctor would often despair at the cruelty and wastefulness he encountered across the galaxies. On a trip to America in 1999, he was accidentally gunned down by a street gang and taken to hospital, where the procedures taken to try and save him did the reverse and he seemingly died, only to regenerate within the hospital’s morgue…

ive pre ordered the 5th doctor one, mainly because I have no 80s daleks, and like the variant, anyone think I should get this one too? I kinda have the doctor variant already, and i would only really get it for the dalek, should i get it?? I am planning on getting others such as the 3rd, 8th, and 4th, maybe even the 2nd if its awesome, since this is what we are getting instead of a 11 doctors set 2, im kinda happy with the variants, they are different enough.

last thing, are they worth keeping in the box? they look cool, and i do keep the back drops, dont ask why, i just keep them, suppose it keeps me comfort when i throw away the box, obviously they will be worth more if kept in them, i am keeping the sonics in them because they are awesome. But Im not sure about these, I would want to display them, but something about them, i can imagine someone looking at them to buy them, and saying i remember them, on the 100th anniversary 🙂

This is a good Set, probably not my favourite though. The Renegade Dalek is good and will go nicely with my Rembrance of The Daleks Set but The Seventh Doctor however would have looked better with a hat on the solemn head and his umbrella instead.

Problem is, that would have needed a new sculpt and none of the figures in this wave have any new parts, just repaints.

Hopefully these will do well (which they have) and lead to new sets with new parts.

I don’t like the doctor varient, but the dalek looks alot better than the first attempt in the remembrance set i might get it twice but I thought the slats on the mesh were black not grey

If you want a Remembrance Imperial then this Dalek is ripe for a quick spray of white and gold trimmings 🙂

The slats on this Renegade aren’t black like in the show but a quick dab of paint will sort that out 😀

the mesh is the same its just a repainted genesis dalek with the smaller eye stalk

    • Gargan7

      August 2nd, 2013 - 4:17pm

It’s not Genesis repaint as their slats have rivets. It look like a repaint from the original ‘Remembrance..’set…..

I am glad that we have another renegade dalek because you could only get the first one with the remembrance of the daleks set which was released back in 2010. So having another one from this set will be nice! 🙂

The Dalek looks like a re-release from the Remembrance set.

The Doctor has the frowny head from the 11 Doctors set with the cream jacket body from the 7th Doctor + Imperial Dalek set. Given the previous cream-jacketed 7th Doctor head was way too goofy, I’ll be getting this for sure.

Children of revolution is a doctor who magazine story does that mean it is officaly canon?

    Reply
    • MAXP

      May 2nd, 2013 - 4:02am

of course it’s canon, why not? What’s the point in bothering with it if it’s not? Stuff that doesn’t fit in continuity wise is just stuff hasn’t been explained why it doesn’t, that’s all! And any writer or showrunner who dismisses stories in other mediums is totally lame!

    • Dalek the Supreme

      May 2nd, 2013 - 2:24pm

It depends on your opinion. I think it’s canon unless the TV Series says something to contradict it, but it’s confirmed canon if the TV Series says something in favor of it. For example, I consider Spare Parts official canon because the Cybermats were drawn to power in both Spare Parts and Closing Time.

    • Chris

      May 2nd, 2013 - 10:20pm

Well MAXP, what if it causes continuity errors.

If Ian is in the 50th and doesn’t recognise 11, but he was in a comic with him, then it’s an error

    • Anonymous

      May 1st, 2013 - 6:12pm

how can you do a variant of a dalek that only apeared once?

    • auton101

      May 1st, 2013 - 9:07pm

It should only be available in the remebrance set, then for the people who have the set, it will be worth alot in the future, because it would only be in one pack.

    • Moid

      August 1st, 2013 - 8:22pm

It’s coming back in the SFX wave 2 in September. I, for one, glad as I can’t spend over £100 on the Remembrance set. And remember, little kids would quite like these too…
