Torchwood – Long Time Dead Paperback

Torchwood: Long Time Dead Paperback

Cardiff Bay. The government has ordered the excavation of the wreckage of a secret underground base.

DCI Tom Cutler is watching from a distance, fascinated by the process. There are people in his dreams. People he feels he should know.

The disbanded Torchwood Institute spent a century accumulating non-terrestrial artefacts and catching aliens.

Who knows what – or who – might still be intact down there. But by the time they find the first body, Suzie Costello is long gone.

Based on the hit series created by Russell T Davies, Long Time Dead is a prequel to Torchwood: Miracle Day, starring John Barrowman and Eve Myles as Jack Harkness and Gwen Cooper. It features Suzie Costello, as played by Indira Varma.

Listed on www.Amazon.com for release on 4 Aug 2011

If these are prequels, why are they being released after the show is going to air?

There could be spoilers in the prequels of things to come.

This is the book that I’m most looking forward to; it explains what happened to the blown-up Hub and the bodies in the mortuary. Plus, Suzie’s back. Again! 😛

I haven’t seen the episodes with Suzie, so this book will hopefully give me a taste of what her character is like.

There is no Hub, it was destroyed in “Children of Earth”. Rumours of an organisation named Torchwood are spreading in the CIA, and then there’s a day when no-one dies. That’s when Jack and Gwen come in. These books are prequels to “Miracle Day”.

This sounds amazing! Suzie’s back. Again! I always wondered what happened to Torchwood 3 after the explosion. 😀
