May 21st, 2016 - 7:06pmI got the Third Doctor from this set before from Manchester Film and Comic Con for only £2! He’s missing his Sonic Screwdriver, but still came in his box, but with no foil wrapper, but I can’t complain at that price.
The Flying Shark
May 29th, 2017 - 7:24pmGot the Sixth Doctor on Saturday from Warrington Comic Con for £4.50.

June 27th, 2014 - 4:55amFinally after 7 months of searching, I have now secured myself the Silver Tardis! Never expected to complete this set to be honest…
booboo
June 27th, 2014 - 9:25amwhere did you get it from?
Have added your pic here

June 27th, 2014 - 11:14pmA UK seller on ebay who gave me a 2nd Chance Offer. Can’t really afford to pay the Custom’s Fees it would cost importing it in from the US ~ So really needed a UK seller.
Wow! Cheers Booboo ~ I now have my own collection page…
Radburn
March 7th, 2014 - 11:37pmLook’s like the Silver Tardis will only be available to a very (select) few! Out of a Production Run of 95,000 figures only 150 Silver Tardis were made…
Katie
June 19th, 2014 - 11:13pmWhere did you get this stat? I just got a Silver Tardis in my nerdblock and was curious about it as it wasn’t listed as a possible choice…
booboo
June 19th, 2014 - 11:16pmis this June’s nerdblock? Silver Tardis have been virtually impossible to get
Katie
June 19th, 2014 - 11:22pmYeah I just opened it and thought it was odd as it wasn’t listed…it’s pretty I guess…I think I will wack it on eBay as I don’t collect them, I like Doctor Who but find the little figures a tiny but creepy. Hopefully the toy will pay for the nerdblock a for a few months
Radburn
June 20th, 2014 - 3:23amFrom TITAN Merchandise: The figure was produced at the last minute & was so rare that even the Head of TITAN Production didn’t even get to pick one up & look at it. They were just packed & shipped. For hardcore Collector’s who want one of everything this was TITAN’s special-one-of-a-kind slap in the face…

January 4th, 2014 - 5:55amI’m a bit peeved that 4 doesn’t come with a sonic! :-[

December 24th, 2013 - 9:00pmI bought one just for fun the other day and got a tenth doctor figure in his brown suit and long coat. I don’t know if this is uncommon or not though.

December 6th, 2013 - 9:36pmHey guys not sure if anyone still reads these but I felt I had to comment. Through a lot of luck I managed to get the complete retail set including the silver Tardis along with 4, 9, 10 and both 11’s variants. The most common ones I stumbled across where William Hartnell and Matt Smith. The hardest one to find aside from the Tardis was Colin Baker and Paul Mcgann. I did manage to pick up a few things though Tom Baker is the heaviest of the bunch with the Tardis being the second.
Linus
December 6th, 2013 - 9:39pmIf you play with the box a bit you may notice a small protrusion a bit that would be a hat. If you feel this with a little weight it is Tom Baker, if it is light it will be Sylvester Mccoy. The Matt Smith with the Fez wont rattle around in the box as much. I wish I could offer more advice in the hunting process.
Radburn
December 10th, 2013 - 9:26pmWow! Good going – Where did you pick up the Silver Tardis from? That’s the only one left that I need. The only 2 I have seen so far were on ebay for silly money…
linus
December 16th, 2013 - 5:11am@radburn I am in the states and I got all mine from a retail store named “Hot Topic”. The TARDIS itself I found a small trick. I was helping a customer find a Tom Baker usingbthe weight of the boxes. I thought I found her a Tom Baker as it was a heavy box. It was the TARDIS. It weighs the same as the Baker figure again the heaviest of the lot but is real stiff in the packaging. If its heavy and you shake the box you should feel little to no jarring. That my friend will be the TARDIS.
Radburn
December 18th, 2013 - 7:19pmWhen you said you got a Silver Tardis – I thought ‘Bet he lives in the US’ – From what I can gather this seem’s to be an Exclusive to Hot Topic? The Tardis seem’s from previous versions (Like the Daleks) to be heavier in the boxes. Checking the boxes the Silver Tardis is not listed on them at all. As a Collector in the UK this annoy’s me & I have already complained to TITAN about them releasing Exclusives for this range that not everyone can get hold of. Needless to say their
Managing Director emailed me with a load of waffle but no answer…
Linus
December 19th, 2013 - 11:03pm@Radburn yeah man sorry I can’t confirm if it is a Hot Topic exclusive or even American exclusive. I don’t understand why they would do that if it were true. I know the David Tennant run had a Hot Topic exclusive which I thought was odd. We just got in a new box a few days ago and I was helping a lady find a Tom Baker. It wasn’t Tom Baker it was the TARDIS. If we happen to get in a new box I will see what I can do for you. Think of it as a Christmas gift from one fan to another. I am however looking forward to finding a John Hurt TITAN heresoon
Radburn
December 20th, 2013 - 8:18am@Linus – Maybe as you said we could do a deal (A Silver Tardis swap for a John Hurt or something?)
I think the Tennant one was ‘The End Of Time’ version which did get a release here. But the versions of Tuxedo/9th. Doctor’s Clothes Tennant was only SDCC & NYCC then later Excel London. If you couldn’t get to any of those Conventions you were’nt getting those figures!
Linus
December 21st, 2013 - 4:30am@Radburn I got my SDCC Tennant off of Amazon. It cost me $40.00 (£25.07).
Radburn
December 21st, 2013 - 2:17pm@Linus – Mine was the ebay route for the SDCC Tennant which I had to Import in from the States. Luckily Booboo kindly helped me out with the Excel Exclusives. To be honest it’s tough going trying to get one of everything…

November 28th, 2013 - 12:00pmAs with the (10th Dr) Set this seem’s to have stretched from 16 figure’s to 18 again – Despite the run-down featured on the boxes? The variants were supposed to be 5? Outlines on the box show 9th Dr 1/40 Green Shirt variant, 4th Dr 1/40 (Unknown at present), 11th Dr 1/40 with Fez/Mop & 10th Dr 1/40 which seem to be both Convention variants of the Tuxedo/10th Dr in 9th’s Clothes. The 11th Dr 1/40 other variant is pictured with Red Shirt & Braces. Now a Silver Tardis 50th variant which isn’t featured on the boxes at all seem’s to have appeared…
booboo
November 28th, 2013 - 12:06pmgot 3 4th Doctors,2 Purple and 1 grey coated, got 2 9th Doctor both green topped, 2 10th doctors, 1 brown waist coat 1 blue waist coat
Radburn
November 28th, 2013 - 11:51pmIs it possible that you could upload a few pictures Booboo of the 4th Doctor Grey Coat & the 10th Doctor’s Brown & Blue Waistcoats please?
(When you have time obviously…)
booboo
November 29th, 2013 - 9:19amdone
Radburn
November 29th, 2013 - 1:44pmNow those pictures make more sense. The 4th Doctor Variant is the Grey Coat version then. The Blue Waistcoat 10th Doctor is the standard & the Brown Waistcoat is the 10th Variant. Obviously the ebay listings I saw for the Tuxedo/9th’s Clothes versions of the 10th were incorrectly listed.
Radburn
November 29th, 2013 - 2:06pmSo the current line up for the 11 Doctors 50th Set
looks like this:
5 Variants as pictured outlines on the boxes. Making the set 16 (Now 17 – With the appearance of the Silver 50th Tardis)
1st Dr 2/20 (Cane)
2nd Dr 1/20 (Flute)
3rd Dr 3/40 (Sonic)
4th Dr 2/20
4th Dr 1/40 (Variant Grey Coat)
5th Dr 2/20
6th Dr 1/20
7th Dr 1/20 (Umbrella)
8th Dr 1/20
9th Dr 2/20 (Red Shirt & Sonic)
9th Dr 1/40 (Variant Green Shirt & Sonic)
10th Dr 1/40 (Variant Brown Pinstripe Suit & Sonic)
10th Dr 2/20 (Blue Pinstripe Suit & Sonic)
booboo
November 29th, 2013 - 2:09pmreading around all 9th Doctors seem to be green, 2 others have had 2 in their boxes like me, no reds
Radburn
November 29th, 2013 - 2:09pmContinued:
11th Dr 2/20 (Long Red Coat & Sonic)
11th Dr 1/40 (Variant Red Shirt/Braces & Sonic)
11th Dr 1/40 (Variant Fez & Mop)
Tardis 1/40 (Variant Silver 50th Anniversary)
Radburn
November 29th, 2013 - 2:14pmMaybe they got it wrong on the picture on the box? Maybe it’s the Green that is standard & the Red is the Rare?
Would it kill them to just stick a tiny picture list inside the boxes so we know what we are looking for? It’s a pain in the $%&£ trying to work out what is what!
I Ended the Time War
November 6th, 2013 - 3:07pmColin looks like he has evil intentions. 😈
Bill Bolton
October 28th, 2013 - 6:09pmHi, Does anyone know what the rarity of each figure (and the chase figures) is? Someone is selling a few on Ebay and lists the fifth and first doctors as 2/20, but it’d be good to know which are the hardest to find. Cheers!
Sam Bentley
September 25th, 2013 - 8:49pmI’ve decided – for now – that after Christmas when I have a bit of money I’m going to get Eleven, Six and Seven for sure. Then, if I like them I’ll try and get the rest. But I really want Eleven and Six at least.
Sam Bentley
September 25th, 2013 - 8:50pmOh, booboo, by the way – have you still got the image of the cartoon originals of these? I have Googled them and the images are really small?
Randall
September 18th, 2013 - 1:11pmJust spoken with Forbidden Planet’s mail order – you can but them in boxes of twenty and if you order 20 pieces online, you get sent 20 pieces in a box.
booboo
September 18th, 2013 - 1:33pmthey told me in an email yesterday that there was no guarantee if you order 40 you would get 2 full boxes, just 40 random figures
Unfortunately we can not guarantee that you would get the full box and not 40 individual figures, these kinds of requests can only really be done in store to be sure you would get what you’re after. and that the only way you could do that is to get them in-store
Randall
September 18th, 2013 - 1:37pmI called forbiddenplanet.com this morning and spoke to a guy named Adam or Adrian and that’s what he told me. Maybe you spoke to forbiddenplanet.co.uk which is a different outfit?
I’m gonna email titanmerchandise.com and see what they have to say…
booboo
September 18th, 2013 - 1:42pmno email was from .com, they are part of Titan i believe,
part of this is that i want the retail box as well as the figures but i’m not taking the risk in view of what the email says, there are other palaces i can get them who will insure an unopened box anyway.
Randall
September 18th, 2013 - 1:54pmSounds like you are covered anyway – I love the retail boxes too. I just got this from titanmerchandise.com
YEP, THE TEAM AT FORBIDDENPLANET.COM CAN DO THIS FOR YOU, NO PROBLEM. JUST EMAIL THEM AT THEIR USUAL ADDRESS AND PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS. FP.COM SHOULD BE LISTING STAND-ALONE COUNTER DISPLAY UNITS OF TWENTY AS A PURCHASE OPTION BY NEXT WEEK.
booboo
September 18th, 2013 - 1:57pmwell not what they said to me
i wont take the chance any way unless they do put up full boxes on direct order
Lior Knight
September 18th, 2013 - 2:10pmI’ve spoke to Andrew Sumner from Titan March and to Nargis Masud from FP.com – they both confirmed that an order of 20 boxes would automatically be shipped as a complete box.
booboo
September 18th, 2013 - 2:33pmNo not according to an email i have for their PR dept
conflicting info just makes me look stupid when i try to find out things for folks – last time i will do it and will just direct people to the relevant PR dept themselves
They have also said they are boxed randomly packed so if you order a box there is no guarantee you will get them all anyway
Lior Knight
September 18th, 2013 - 3:01pmI’ve asked Andrew Sumner about the random packs and he replied:
”When you buy an entire box you definitely get a complete set of Doctors.
You’ll get all of the 11 Doctors at least once and one, maybe two of the super-rare chase figures.”
This is directly from Titan March so its as official as it gets regardless what FP workers might think.
booboo
September 18th, 2013 - 4:29pmlike i said, i asked i was told exactly the opposite, made me look stupid, anyone else asks anything i will just give them the companies CS email
companies (not all) seem to have a habit of either not replying at all or giving out duff info as far as i am concerned
Lior Knight
September 18th, 2013 - 9:52pmBooboo, its not your fault so no need to feel bad about it. FP just need to check with the manufacturer before answering questions.
booboo
September 18th, 2013 - 9:55pmFP are the retailers who supply the stuff to the customer, they are in control of what they send out and its their responsibility
Randall
September 19th, 2013 - 3:24pmLooks like they may have realised their communication was unclear.
I just placed my order with Forbidden Planet and this is what it says on their online listing:
Please Note: These great figures are also available as a 20 figure ‘Counter Display Case’. Guaranteeing you’ll receive ALL of the core 12 TITANS designs in each wave and up to two of the rare chase figures.
Here’s the URL:

September 19th, 2013 - 3:26pmyes saw that this morning i was expecting to see a separate specific listing at some stage
Sam Bentley
September 17th, 2013 - 11:51pmbooboo, (or anyone) which of these are you favourites? Mine have to be; Eleven, Seven, Six and One!

September 15th, 2013 - 10:42amLove these things! are these going to be blind packed?
jaketorwho
September 15th, 2013 - 10:43amnever mond just seen it at the top! lol
Scott
September 15th, 2013 - 3:34pmFor the price I’m not happy that they are blind boxed, think I will be checking in-store
Doctor of tardis 1974
September 15th, 2013 - 7:10pmThese look good but I don t like the blind packets some time you get the one you all Ready got
DoctorWho2013
September 15th, 2013 - 10:37amThey’ve vastly improved on Pertwee and Tom Baker…although the others look dreadful sorry. I was quite happy with the art depictions of these released a while back. McGann, Davison, McCoy, Colin Baker, Troughton…what a shame 🙁
Dalek sec
September 15th, 2013 - 2:37amThis will be absolutely fantastic.
Lior Knight
September 15th, 2013 - 12:35amIs there a way to buy an entire box of those online?
booboo
September 15th, 2013 - 10:40amwill find out
booboo
September 18th, 2013 - 8:09amThey have said not, and FP have specifically said the boxes are packet at random so even it you buy an opened box of 40 there is no guarantees you will get a full set and all the chase figures
needless to say sadly we will not be buying a box now so we wont be able to give any away
Lior Knight
September 18th, 2013 - 2:12pmHeard otherwise.
Any way, stores such as Entertainment Earth and BigBadToyStore both offer complete boxed for those who are interested (about $180-$200) each.
Dominic Kane
September 14th, 2013 - 10:23pmi hope we get like 2 waves for every seriesof these 🙂
HornsOfAzal
September 14th, 2013 - 9:54pmI should be saying ‘ewwwwwwwwwwwwww’ but I actually think that as caricatures of the doctors these are quite good, quite quirky and quite amusing…how much are these and where do you get them ? are they just a forbidden planet item ? I think little chumblie mechanoids quarks and so on would be good do they do the aliens ??
booboo
September 15th, 2013 - 10:39amThey are Titan who are part off FP.com but i have seen them in other places
