We live forever, barring accidents. Just like everyone else in the universe.
The Doctor travels back to the Ancient Days, an era where life flourishes and death is barely known…
Then come the Kotturuh – creatures who spread through the cosmos dispensing mortality. They judge each and every species and decree its allotted time to live. For the first time, living things know the fear of ending. And they will go to any lengths to escape this grim new spectre, death.
The Doctor is an old hand at cheating death. Now, at last, he can stop it at source. He is coming for the Kotturuh, ready to change everything so that Life wins from the start.
Not just the last of the Time Lords. The Time Lord Victorious.

September 26th, 2020 - 7:43pmI’ve received an email from Amazon saying this is being delayed until December, yet the page still says 1st October. Anyone else received this or am I being scammed for personal details?

September 27th, 2020 - 9:21amwell its defiantly out in some shops so not delayed but not sure how you be being scammed?
Go to your Amazon account (not via the email) and see what your order status says

September 29th, 2020 - 3:02pmDefinitely a scam.
This book has already started to appear in some Waterstones shops (I read it all last weekend and it is amazing) so it’d be highly unlikely that a book that you could find in Waterstones now would come onto Amazon in December.
On the subject of December, this novel does end on a cliffhanger so if you want the complete story, you’ll need to get “All Flesh is Grass” as well…

May 14th, 2020 - 6:58pmIs it just me or has the general quality of Merch gone downhill. Only the Collection Blu-ray sets appeal to me at the moment.

May 14th, 2020 - 7:22pmMany planned Audio / Book releases have got delayed for obvious reasons until next year, otherwise its as strong if not stronger in the UK than in the last few years.

May 15th, 2020 - 1:25amFor me personally, TLV is the most enthusiasm I’ve seen / felt for Doctor Who merchandise since… possibly ever.
To top it off, a new video game has just been confirmed for all of the major platforms, which has never happened before.

May 15th, 2020 - 10:17amI collect books, so the who books are a major part of my collection accounting for about 1/5 of the total. I’ve got about 1000 who books and I still love them coming out now. The books released in the last few years have been very good and there are some good ones on the way. The toy market seems popular among fans although I don’t bother, nor do I bother with CDs, vinyl, clothing or bluray. I buy the books and I buy DVD. But I think that who merchandise has hasn’t been this strong for years.

May 17th, 2020 - 6:57amThe BBC have had a massive drop in merchandising revenue because of the lack of interest in the new series and the backlash of some fans. Note how the new merchandising push doesn’t include the Thirteenth Doctor. Certainly seems to be an unlucky number for the BBC.

May 17th, 2020 - 9:37amThe BBC don’t publish merchandise revenue for individual programmes somewhere have you got this info from? Also the 13th doctor is on a lot of merchandise that is selling.

May 17th, 2020 - 9:44amThink about the sixties. The daleks were massive. For a year and a half. These things happen. Tom was huge but he moved on. Tennant was popular with a certain age group who grow up and move on meaning future doctor’s have less merchandise. BBC books published lots of Tennant novels. But the quality wasn’t always high. The amount is in direct proportion to the surge of children buying merchandise not older fans. Children grow up and leave the show the same thing happened in the classic era. Stop trying to score points by manipulating data

May 17th, 2020 - 9:46amHow do you know 13 isn’t involved? It does say more characters to be revealed. That could mean more doctor’s as well.

May 16th, 2020 - 9:59pmI heavily doubt they’d include a random ood from a random big finish box set

May 12th, 2020 - 1:33pmSounds as if the books form the first and last stories.

May 12th, 2020 - 9:28pmMaybe not as it starts in September so I would say that the first book as it comes out in October will be the second part and the second book that comes out in December will be towards the end as it finishes in January next year
