In the Argos catalogue, they showed a promo picture of this figure which had the first headsculpt of Capaldi and the red lining and when the actual figure came out, we got something entirely different. Now my question is; Is this technically false advertisement and misleading?

October 1st, 2014 - 10:03pmprobably covered by small print, however Argos have known for weeks ( and i know that for a fact) the image is incorrect and have still not removed it from their website at least.

October 1st, 2014 - 10:50pmI checked the catalogue and found some small print about how some of the images in the catalogue may be different to the actual item. But who really gets a catalogue just to read the small print? Would it make better sense to put this information on the page where the 12th Doctor figure is and put in small, yet noticeable, writing to explain that the item that’s been shown in the catalogue isn’t really the actual product?

October 2nd, 2014 - 8:27am@TSPITL try the ABC Shops or Popcultcha. I know the ABC Shops have only just got wave 2 of 3.75 so maybe in 2-3 months. Popcultcha are selling wave three at the moment but not the 12th doctor yet.

September 28th, 2014 - 5:40pmI think this 3.75 inch range is very good. This is because it’s very rare to find a figure range from a very successful tv/film show for under £10 per figure. Not only that but these figures are actually quite good- maybe the likenesses aren’t that good, but detailwise it’s just what we would expect from an average Star Wars figure, and they cost £3 more! On top of that they don’t waste time making obscure characters like ‘4-LOM’ or ‘that pilot guy from episode 2’. I know I sound like I’m hating on Hasbro, but too many people hate on character!

September 29th, 2014 - 10:14pmI am planning on painting some red lining. For me it’s the defining feature. I would say that the Old face sculpt would have been good with another facial expression. At what point in the time of the Doctor did he smirk like that? The new face sculpt is better than the wave 2 in my opinion as the hair is the right colour and he’s not pulling that Joker-like smile.
