November 7th, 2016 - 6:41pmOkay, One this Story is great with Animation
I love this style. It beats the moonbase animation out of the park. My Only Complaint is that Ben could have look slightly less sad at times. 10/10

November 7th, 2016 - 9:30pmBen looks like he needed to lighten up a bit at times. He does look pained or frustrated at times in the animation. More so than he probably should.

November 7th, 2016 - 10:22am‘Power of the Daleks’ is such a strong story, well structured and well told. I find it’s enjoyable to listen to just on audio, and even the soundtrack combined with telesnaps is very good. But the animation makes it move and makes it available to watch for many. It’s thanks to writing of underrated David Whitaker and contribution of Dennis Spooner, that the story holds up so well in different formats. Take into account the acting from the regulars, and Troughton in fine form in his first story, plus the great performances from the guest cast, then you have a story well deserving of classic status. The animation complements it perfectly.

November 6th, 2016 - 9:30pmIt’s very well animated. Especially for something created in such a short space of time. I like the fact as well the animation even has a retro feel, as if it could have been made in the sixties. I’ve heard some people be critical of the style of animation (not on the Doctor Who Site I hasten to add), and say it’s poor animation and could be done better. Certainly, with more time and more computer influence it could have looked amazing. But then it loses it’s novelty style, and makes it feel too modern, and it also looks like something that couldn’t have been made in the 1960’s, but rather the 2000’s. And isn’t that the point.
