I saw all six episodes at the cinema. Holy crap, it was awesome. The six episodes were edited into one 2 1/2 hour piece. The title sequence was altered to fit both widescreen and surround sound (the new remix of the theme was AMAZING!). I already really liked Power as a story, and the animation’s added to it. The Doctor, Ben and Polly looked very like their live-action counterparts, the guest characters were rendered with uncanny detail and the Daleks! Well, the Daleks were just divine. The scenes of legions of them chanting gave me chills. The whole thing was really well done and I loved being a part of the ride. If more stories are given the same treatment, I’ll definitely be seeing them.

I think he went to the screening that was held yesterday at BFI like I did where they showed the first three episodes and had a Q&A adterwards.

What can I say…BRILLIANT! Well done guys on capturing the look and feel of a lost sixties classic. This for me, is the best animated episode of Doctor Who I have seen, certainly from any of the missing ones animated so far. I sincerely hope the BBC fund the restoration of many more episodes…Please do ‘The Faceless Ones’!

I would love if they did that
They have two episodes already and another four to animate
Would love a Crusade as well
      Maybe in a 2017 bundle

How about a Hartnell boxset, comprising ‘The Crusade’ and ‘The Celestial Toymaker’. That would mean animating 5 episodes instead of 6.

Loved it, the work put into it really showed. Don’t think I got the free art cards and I was refreshing the page from quarter to haha

I don’t think the ‘congratulations you’ve got a set of art cards’ e-mail has gone out to anyone yet, from what I can tell on one or two forums. So don’t count yourself out of luck just yet!

If you buy a series pass then use the BBC store app, you can download all 6 episodes onto your device and watch them all at once
