Doctor Who The Other (War) Doctor 5″ Figure

The ‘Other Doctor’ is the Doctor’s dark chapter, an _hitherto unknown incarnation whose existence he has spent centuries repressing, a secret he wants no one to know of.
He is a relic of the past, part of the great Time War, when he spent centuries fighting alongside his fellow Time Lords against the Daleks and made the final decision to end it with a desperate act that cost that incarnation the right to use the name “Doctor”.
This haunted and battle-worn Other Doctor is finally forgiven after helping find a new solution to end the war, giving the Eleventh Doctor a new purpose as he heads into further adventures.

Production would be far cheaper and easier this time around since it’s just a re-release, and people are queuing up to buy more.

April 2nd, 2014 - 6:27pmMine arrived today. It was nice opening a new 5″ figure with that new figure smell. I’m gonna be honest here.. Its amazing! The detailing, the likeness to john hurt is just mind blowing. The moment is great too and the Paul mcgann head is a nice added extra. While the other head may seem pointless, as a collector i find it adds to the greatness of this figure

Collectors and ebay sellers always buy ridcolous amounts to sell for profit and then stock goes down so much faster. Sometimes i get really annoyed because even i forget the fact that Doctor who is a show for the younger fans too 🙁

April 2nd, 2014 - 7:47pmI hardly call 2 a ridiculous amount, and like many other people i bought 2 Churchill’s , 2 Aces, 2 Joe’s, 2 city of death sets, 2 Caves of Androzani sets etc etc all so i could have all variants on display so why is this any different, i want the war doctor boxed and the 8th head on the other body from the 1st set.

Many people order 2 so they can have variants on display, or even a 3rd of you want to custom a 9th doctor you only have to look at the pole 25% of people are buying more than one.
Its what collectors do.

April 12th, 2014 - 4:41pmyeah I guess that if you’re a collector when it comes to this set you would buy 2 just because there’s 2 heads which means 2 variants to be displayed… and as for keeping it in the box that’s really quite a clever thing to do if you think about it I mean look at all the vintage star wars figures and play sets that seem to go for loads all the time! and with this, it could possibly be the last 5 inch figure that gets released so it does kinda make sense…
