Doctor Who The Other (War) Doctor 5″ Figure

The ‘Other Doctor’ is the Doctor’s dark chapter, an _hitherto unknown incarnation whose existence he has spent centuries repressing, a secret he wants no one to know of.
He is a relic of the past, part of the great Time War, when he spent centuries fighting alongside his fellow Time Lords against the Daleks and made the final decision to end it with a desperate act that cost that incarnation the right to use the name “Doctor”.
This haunted and battle-worn Other Doctor is finally forgiven after helping find a new solution to end the war, giving the Eleventh Doctor a new purpose as he heads into further adventures.

I think it is a packaging error because at New York Toy Fair the packaging labelled the moment as ‘Time Cube’ accessory and on the Ebay item the packaging says ‘The Moment’ accessory.
They probably had to correct the packaging.

March 13th, 2014 - 9:24pmBeen waiting (via both branches of Forbidden Planet since 2012 for the Biff Bang Pow Dalek. Finally lost patience, cancelled my order and ordered it from the US, it arrived this morning! 😀
Will do the same soon with the Titan Genesis sculpture -again announced in 2012 by Forbidden Planet, each deadline comes, goes and is revised with no apology. Titan themselves did reply at last (but only when, after repeated e-mails, I mentioned cancelling my order!) – they anticipate end of June for the Genesis…i wouldn’t hold yo breath!!! 😀

Especially as the line had just been cancelled & this was the last of their figures that I needed…

It should come to Britain first as Doctor Who is a British show; if I pre-order something I expect it to be on time or at the very least not delayed so much. Whats the damn hold-up?! I assume its to do with the Suppliers perhaps but even so this is really irritating!

I have given up on release dates ages back. They just pick a date out of the air then never stick to it ~ If it goes past several months I cancel it & Order elsewhere.
I was in FP Southampton last weekend ~ Saw an item I had on Order from the US for 10 months. I bought it there & then, went home & cancelled the US Order…

It is not known yet, it’s not even on their website. I have phoned them (Bristol and London) and they don’t know when it’s gonna be on their shelf; as the suppliers have not confirmed a ship date

I have phoned them (Cardiff) and they said that it’s likely that it will be on the shelf tomorrow or Saturday.

So if we DO get a Capaldi 5″ figure as anSDCC exclusive this summer (and I think it’s increasingly unlikely), at this rate if we’re lucky it’ll ship in time for Christmas:P

It’s not the delay that frustrates/annoys me so much as the fact that FP didn’t update their stock status UNTIL the day it was supposed to arrive. They must have known *before* today that they wouldn’t have it. And let’s not forget, *that* was a delay from the original date of February 28th. British fans and collectors seem to be right at the bottom of the list of priorities these days, if indeed we’re on the list at all.
