At the end the doctor said john hurt doctor was him but he wasn’t the doctor. loads of people are saying how he is the 9th doctor or 8.5. but he cant be. technically he is the first whatever the doctors real name is. I reckon he will be a dark doctor. a not very nice one. He is the doctors greatest fear. like in nightmare in silver there was the cyber controller and the doctor inside the doctors mind. I think john hurt is the other side of the doctor.

1) the fat blue thing said “Silence will fall when the question is asked” Where were the scilence?
2) dose anyone atually know what regeneration John Hurt is? I dont think so
3) The title is “the name of the doctor” so why didnt it say his name, unless they think that we heard river say it.
4) river knows his real name, so who told her because she’s dead know and we never see the doc tell her his name.

I think hurt is the vallyard i also think omega will be back.
As for dr who having another regen it prob will happen master managed it plus i think gallyfrey will return this is dr who history can and has changed look at first ever dalek story then genesis.

May 18th, 2013 - 7:58pmApologies if i’m posting this here incorrectly, but that episode was amazing – certainly the best of the 11th Doctor. As for John Hurt…yes, I believe he WILL be the Doctor…..but probably the ‘final’ doctor. ie: the Valeyard!! And I presume there were spoilers posted as we didn’t see the clip with David Tennant. Shame, but we did see many doctors instead!

Unfortunately I did actually read the plot for the 50th anniversary when I was just looking for photos on YouTube, I was in strong denial that it was true but after this and photos, information etc. I have no reason to deny it, all I will say is that if it is the true story it sounds absolutely fantastically amazing!
