November 23rd 1963 proves to be a significant day in the lives of all eight Doctors…

It’s the day that Bob Dovie’s life is ripped apart…

It’s also a day that sets in motion a catastrophic chain of events which forces the first eight incarnations of the Doctor to fight for their very existence. As a mysterious, insidious chaos unfolds within the TARDIS, the barriers of time break apart… From suburban England through war-torn alien landscapes and into a deadly, artificial dimension, all these Doctors and their companions must struggle against the power of an unfathomable, alien technology.

Looking at the cover of this closley and to be honest, I find it very very poor.

The inamge had CGI renders which are okay, buit my main complaint is that proper headshots have been photoshopped onto these bodies giving them a wierd look.

Colin Baker doesn’t fare much better.

The McGann Doctor comes off especially badly where the head shot is all out of porportion and at the wrong angle making this a very poor example of what can be done with modern day techniques.

Why is BF not listed as the main supplier? Seems strange not to.

I’ve pre-ordered this (the limited edition version) and I really don’t like the cover image! I mean, it’s a nice novelty image, but I prefer and wish that they had used the standard edition cover. Sorry Big Finish.

Does anyone think this version will be available to buy from the 50th anniversary convention at Excel in November? I know there is no way of knowing 100%, but at a guess what would you say?

Hopefully yea! I emailed them and asked how people are supposed to get the autographs, and they said that you get them on the day, rather than pre booking them. Wow, i wand all the doctors and companions autographs, this is going to cost a lot! (as well as the hotel and lots of items i am going to buy there)Hope i have enough, as i have been saving up since March and should have about £300 by the time i go! Hope you have a good time and get everything you want!

If I had to hazard a guess, I’d say the standard would come in a normal case with the same artwork, Just not lenticular.

Pinch me and pinch me NOW! This is every fans dream, oh let it be good and the thought that Tom, yes Tom, will play alongside the other Doctors! If theres any justice they’ll have a massive photo-shoot as well. The sadness is that though they’ll be there in spirit, not to have Bill, Pat, Jon, Jacquie, Lis, Carrie, Mary, Ian and Nick there will be the downer.

I know they have this ‘Destiny of the Doctors’ thing, but surely they could have a CD where all 11 doctors meet up, instead of just the 8? 🙂

This sounds amazing, definitely getting this rather than the standard release! Although it could be a 3 disc adventure, couldn’t it? It’s just the same length as a normal Big Finish release… Anyway, getting it regardless!

Destiny of the Doctor is a collaboration between Big Finish and AUDIOGO not the BBC. The BBC have yet to announce their plans for the 50th anniversary

ok, i just meant the bbc because audiogo publish the audios under the BBC audiobooks brand.
