The Doctor Who Reprint Society

With several re-issues of long out of print Doctor Who books now almost certain, there has been renewed interest in trying to get the “powers that be” to re-print many sought after and hard to obtain novels.

The new series has attracted a new generation of fans with many of them wanting to explore the classic series, especially novels, but they have the frustration of not being able to acquire certain titles with ease, this same frustration applies to long term collectors.

A website, The Doctor Who Reprint Society, dedicated to this cause answers many questions and has a growing army of fans who support the idea.

Here you will find lists of the most wanted titles , artwork, reviews, interviews ( one with Lance Parkin with his views on reprints ) and general information on Doctor Who Books.

I have all the Virgin titles, but many of them, especially the missing adventures, are falling apart. So reprints would be great for those of us who, not concerned with collecting but just want the books to read, need to replace the originals.

I would like War of the Daleks and The Devil Goblins of Neptune reprinted the most because they sound very good.

This is a worthwhile venture to try to get books that are currently fetching £50-£60 reprinted for us fans.

A worthy cause, there are so many great titles that could do with reprinting

I checked these guys out from an article I’d seen a while back. they’re pretty quiet but I have a suspicion that something special is brewing there. It seems like there’s a run of supporters starting to come on with them. could be something big. All I know is it’s pretty frickn exciting to have the opportunity to get my grubby hands on some old skool who books.

I may have to sign up.
