Now, I know this comes with “An Adventure in Time & Space” (on that note, Day of the Doctor 3D and (AND) aAiTaS HD all for less than £11?! ERR, thanks BBC!)
Does the UK release come with “Doctor Who Explained? The 50 years in 50 minutes thing?

Not that I wish to doubt anyone, but can someone point to somewhere where the contents are officially confirned? I’ve not been able to find anything – this appears to be the only place. I sincererly hope that this is correct and it does also contain An Adventure in Space and Time Blu-ray in addition to both 3D and 2D Blu-ray versions of The Day of the Doctor.

it has to be a blue ray 3D player though, any blue ray device which isn’t will not work with this

From previous experience (having loads of 3D blu rays. The 2D version will play on a standard blu ray player. At least the 3D is there for the day you upgrade.

it must do because its the same listing as before they just added the 3d bit

there is no separate listings anywhere for DVD, Bluray and 3D

would have been better if the full info was out before they were put up for pre order to be honest as its just confusing people especially as it now includes Adventures in space and time

Have to say at just over 11 quid at the time of ordering a 3D blu ray of anything is massive value for money

Despite the 10% discount code for the BBC shop, it’s actually cheaper still, to order it from Amazon UK. That’s where I’ve preordered mine from!

More than likely – then a mega box set covering the ninth to end of 11th era. I’m tempted to hold out for this but will probably get the series 1 – 7 box set. and the 2 specials individually

Me to. Maybe it will come like the waters of mars and the end of time did. In a Box set, but with two separate cases! Hope so anyway!

    • Some bloke

      September 18th, 2013 - 10:25pm

I hope it does come like The Waters of Mars/ The End of Time. I will HATE it if it comes in the sam e case and under the same design as The Day of the Doctor. If it does, then I will be designing my own cover for An Adventure in Space and Time, providing it comes on a separate disc to The Day of the Doctor

I don’t know. I was just wondering that… does anybody here know the answer?

    • Anonymous

      September 12th, 2013 - 5:12pm

Rose is in the episode so I’d presume it is something to do with her.

    • TARDISkey

      September 12th, 2013 - 6:14pm

It’s not been stated why, as expected. But it’s probably to help make people aware that Rose is still in the 50th since she’s quite overlooked compared to most of the things to expect in the special. Plus Bad Wolf is a warning that the universe is going to end, so…

    • DoctorWhoFan101

      September 12th, 2013 - 7:48pm

Thanks, when I first saw it I considered that it was something to do with Rose’s known return, but I just was a bit confused, as, when I originally saw that poster thingy, it didn’t have bad wolf. I’m a bit confuddled.
