SFX Magazine Issue 378

Ncuti Gatwa is on the cover of SFX 378 (in UK shops now), doing that classic “reaching out a hand” pose that all Doctors are contractually obliged to do. But not walking around a clock.

The issue comes bagged with some great gifts: a double-sided A2 poster (with Ncuti Gatwa and Millie Gibson posing on one side, and Ncuti inside the TARDIS on the reverse), plus two art cards featuring cover art from Blu-ray range The Collection (to be specific: season 14 and season 23).

Picked this up yesterday. I haven’t had a chance to read it yet, but flicking through it I was impressed by the amount of coverage of the new season, and the two art cards of Lee Binding’s work are gorgeous.

Looking at the lower banner, I really want Evil Godzilla to be a thing.

What is up with the ‘HANDS’ perpetually in the foreground in the RTD2 era.

Hand(s) at the front has been standard for most of the revival. Just look at loads of the promo shots where the Doctor does a hand gesture to camera.
