The Third Doctor From ‘The Time Warrior’ 1973
“A straight line may be the shortest distance between two points, but it is by no means the most interesting.”
Sarah Jane Smith is impersonating her aunt, virologist Lavinia Smith, in order to gain access to a research centre where top scientists are being held in protective custody while UNIT investigates the disappearance of a number of their colleagues. The missing scientists have been kidnapped by Commander Linx, from the warrior race of Sontarans, and taken back to medieval England, where they are working under hypnosis to repair his damaged spaceship.
- A Limited Edition 1:12 scale handpainted figurine / statue from the Doctor Who Collection.

- Traditionally Hand Sculpted by Mike Rogers.
- Official BBC License. Each piece is approved by the Doctor Who television production team at BBC Wales in Cardiff. Additionally, the Doctors are approved by the actors themselves
- Approximately 7.1 inches (181mm) tall (1:12 scale).
- A Limited Edition of Only 750 Figurines Worldwide.
- Individually hand numbered with a unique number on the base.
- Comes complete in a presentation box with information card and a Certificate of Authenticity!
The Third incarnation of the Doctor was played by Jon Pertwee for five consecutive seasons from 3rd January 1970 to 8th June 1974. The time of the Third Doctor comes into existence as part of a punishment from his own race, the Time Lords, who force him to regenerate and disable the TARDIS, leaving him stranded on Earth. His final companion was intrepid journalist Sarah Jane Smith, who would go on to become the Doctor’s longest-serving companion.

August 2nd, 2020 - 9:20pmThe Drs face sculpting is excellent, just needs the paint aps on the face improving.
Whoever paints the clothing have nailed it, the faces, not so much.

December 18th, 2015 - 12:13amAgreed. That is the worst likeness I have ever seen. Well, maybe it is beaten by Star War’s 1995 “Monkey Face” Princess Leia

August 3rd, 2015 - 7:39amunfortunately “classic merchandise” does not seem as popular as we like to think it should be, especially as you move further towards the less well know and early characters , we have already seen the 5″ line struggling to sell what’s needed.
so i think they are just keeping things safe, they seem to be the type of company that want to sell out in reasonable time and move on.
As far as the Doctors go i think that are aware of some of the criticism around and will have a re-think on those.
I also think they need to move towards a couple of figure that have not been done any any range before maybe

August 2nd, 2015 - 9:17amTbh when it’s displayed in a cabinet i don’t think any ‘ faults ‘ in the sculpt / paint-job will be ‘ that ‘ obvious . The 19th Dr is the one im worrying about – it looks very ‘ manga-fied ‘ imo .

August 1st, 2015 - 1:32pmIt’s got a basic resemblance to Jon Pertwee but it’s not a very good one unfortunately, thinking they should stick to monsters/aliens as they are great.

July 31st, 2015 - 10:54pmNot sure about the features at all – not sure they’ve done my favourite doctor properly. But my understanding is they are supposed to be slightly caricatures.

July 31st, 2015 - 2:25pmI received this yesterday and can vouch that its much better in hand ; so to speak.
I’m sure the Dalek is being released in the next fortnight too.
I didn’t know the figs were painted abroad & imported back into the country for sale. 3rd Dr seller told me of this.
The Twelfth Doctor
July 31st, 2015 - 2:19pmWhen I first saw tye picture I thought it was a 3.75″ figure. Quite disappointing as I would’ve bought this if it was for the awful head sculpt/paint job.
