Robert Harrop Designs have been creating collectable hand painted figurines for over 30 years and have gained a well earned reputation of high quality and accuracy of detail.
Their extensive portfolio includes Thunderbirds, Camberwick Green, Beano Dandy and 2000AD to name but a few. A portfolio that is extremely nostalgic and very British, so it was no surprise that Doctor Who would be the next project that we wanted to embrace into our studios!

June 25th, 2016 - 5:55pmThere’s a discrepancy in the limited edition amounts on its page on Robert Harrop’s website. It says 250 in one place and only 150 in another…

June 24th, 2016 - 5:41pmSo will this be given to people with gold membership like the plague from last year
Joe McGill
June 24th, 2016 - 8:08pmNo it won’t be the Gold Membership gift which was the original intention but due to the intricate detail of the sculpt they are now releasing it as a normal release.
They are now playing with the idea of releasing K9 as the Gold Member gift but this hasn’t been confirmed yet.

June 24th, 2016 - 8:47pmI was thinking that this looked a bit too detailed for a free gift

June 25th, 2016 - 12:18pmThe Malus won’t but you will get the K9 figurine as the free gift if you are a Gold Member if they do decide to go ahead with it’s release. The guys on the RH stall at the recent Excel comic con advised that they are considering K9 as the free gift but nothing has been confirmed yet but it’s won’t be the Malus as originally planned.

June 24th, 2016 - 4:31pmI think this is the unexpected gem of the latest releases…remember this version appeared in the TARDIS briefly… I suspect the Malus in the church wont be far behind……

June 24th, 2016 - 4:17pmI’m really pleased they did this, not something I’d have thought to get into my collection but as soon as I saw it I thought it was a great idea to be making something less obvious. 😀

June 24th, 2016 - 4:05pmI find it odd that they did this version of it rather than the big face on the wall, I would definitely get it them because it wouldn’t be far off an accurate scale for 5 inch
