Skaro was home to two races; the Thals, a warrior race, and the Kaleds, a race of teachers and philosophers. A thousand-year-old degenerative war between the two races came to a conclusion in ‘Genesis of the Daleks’ when Davros, the leading Kaled scientist, developed the Daleks as a ‘housing’ for mutated Kaleds.
He was killed by his creatures after slaughtering the majority of his people. As a term of contempt, the Thals termed the remaining Kaleds ‘Dalek People’ or ‘Dals’.

September 6th, 2015 - 11:58amReceived mine a few days ago , is a lovely figure . Sea Devil looking at a October / November release & David Tennant fig has been put back for a 2016 release as it has a few ‘ tweaks ‘ done to it ( hopefully sorting the Manga-style face out ) .

August 21st, 2015 - 3:00pmI saw a Gold Dalek from ‘Day of the Daleks’ recently in Forbidden Planet up London on Saturday very identical to this one in a window display.
Bit of an error thou, the paper lying in front of it said it was from ‘Genesis of the Daleks’ 😀

August 21st, 2015 - 12:54pmYou can’t really go wrong with Daleks. They’re the only decent figures in the 3.75 line, as well.

December 17th, 2015 - 12:11amI do think that there are other good figures in the 3.75 scale, but the Daleks are the most consistently accurate.
